Where is armchair.
He swore Nuss would be the starter and if he wasn't Nuss would transfer and every WR would follow him.

With Myles leaving, if nuss hits the portal, who’s the backup?

Would you rather not support the LSU starting QB?
I think I have an idea but I'll keep it to myself to not have to hear the wrath of the totally innocent fan base. It's pretty predictable though.

Not a shocker. Given that it’s been uncertain for this long, it’s likely that they are all relatively even. Daniels has the most experience as a starting QB by a large margin, and gets the nod. I’m fine with it. Daniels can also do more than Nussmeier and Brennan with his legs.

If Daniels gets the nod, are y’all more worried about him being the starter or how bad those behind him are performing for him to get the start?
During this past baseball season I saw how Thompson struggled, but I was more concerned about depth since he was still apparently the best option even after his struggles.

Brian Kelly's head must be spinning!

As I've stated MULTIPLE times here, no shite.
Once again, he didn't come here to hold a clipboard. He was assured at the highest levels that he would probably be the starter. Otherwise, he goes to a UTEP.
I'm not some super sleuth, nor do I have any insider knowledge, just like 99% of posters on here.
Yay, give me a cookie I was right. It doesn't mean Daniels will keep the job. He may or may not. But I was VILLIFIED on here just because I read the tea leaves properly. It's not Chinese arithmetic, people.

I think Nuss hurting his ankle coupled with Daniels starting experience and running ability gave Daniels the nod from BK. I also think if Daniels stinks it up BK won’t hesitate to put Nuss in. Honestly Daniels is going to have to be pretty special to run the ball in this conference at his size and not have any injuries. Either way Nuss needs to stick it out this season because there’s a pretty good chance he’ll get a shot to start imo.

shows what kind of heart and grit Myles has. “Oh I’m not starting, my lazy and entitled arse is quitting”. Most overrated player ever.

For depth I hope it’s Nuss. I could see Nuss transferring if Daniels gets the nod
Doubt nuss transfers. He most likely will get snaps this yr.
He would be going into 2023 with a great chance to start.

Eh. Maybe. Maybe too he just realized it's not in the cards for him here. I had high hopes, and I appreciate him sticking around. He's had some bad luck - poor player development, being stuck behind tGOAT, and maybe being a little too lazy to put forth the effort, who knows. But I wish him well.

Yes, after he won the competition. Just like it would’ve been Nuss if he won the competition. And it would’ve been MB if he had won the QB competition.

Hearing it all over
Daniels taking first team snaps
Generally the guy taking first team snaps at this point is the guy. Coaches see the chemistry and the execution and it rarely gets changed.

Jayden is the guy until Garret is the boy.

I believe the statement goes like this, "what have you done for me lately." I was looking at last years stats. What's wrong with that?
Nothing wrong with that, but it's also fair to put some context with those numbers. It isn't a secret that ASU had a bunch of offensive talent transfer out before last season due to the looming NCAA cloud over that program.
Would you agree that Daniels has better talent and better coaching around him now to maximize his potential?

Maybe the previous post was implying Daniels is the starter because Nuss is hurt?
