re: Coach O - PG Version - la_birdman
Do what? First off, he's not going to give an extension when O is literally in his second full year as a head coach. He has big shoes to fill, I've already said that once. He's not better than Miles but he deserves credit for the way this year ended. Getting all worked up ...

re: Coach O - PG Version - la_birdman
Miles was still coach for both the Wisconsin and Auburn games last year. As I stated, this year we could’ve completely folded but we didn’t. We beat a #10 ranked Auburn team that went on to beat #1 Georgia and #1 Bama. That’s a good thing. We finished much stronger than we started, is w...

re: Coach O - PG Version - la_birdman
I don’t really see it that way. I could see why though you’d think that. There were riffs between O and Canada, O made bad moves by publicly throwing the kickers under the bus but he did stop that nonsense. And we’ve trended upward since. So here’s to continuing our upward trend. ...

re: Coach O - PG Version - la_birdman
Miles was fired because he said he’d change the offense and didn’t. O is only in his first full season as the HC so no, he isn’t better than Miles. Frankly, he has some big shoes to fill. With that being said, he did well not letting the team fold after the Moo State and Troy debacles. He ...

re: Why would anyone want to deep fry red meat? - la_birdman
Why would anyone want to deep fry anything?
Really? You've never had deep fried catfish? Chicken wings? Fried mozzarella? Chicken fried steak? All kinds of wonderful right there....

re: Lanes Vs. Canes Chicken - la_birdman
Never heard of Lanes. But I will say Cane's is just ok, which is unfortunate because the places are always clean (at least the ones I've been in), the service is top notch but the food is just meh, although the lemonade is pretty great. It's chicken breast in flour fried. Not seasoned or...

re: Looks like Troy will have an 11 win season - la_birdman
We took the talent lightly which is a bad habit that we've seemed to develop. We were unprepared and O admitted to meddling in the offense. He hasn't since and we've improved. Let's focus on that instead of the embarrassing loss. Just a thought....

re: The Last Jedi: Non-Miserable Audience Discussion. Spoilers. - la_birdman
I have to agree. There's always something in a Star Wars movie that makes you say, "what?" but you have to watch to see what happens. I thought it was very well put together and the plots intertwined perfectly. ...

I thought it was terrific. Just wish Luke hadn't gone but I was ok with how it happened. Takes me back to 5th grade. Not too much to complain about. ...

re: Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi ***SPOILERS*** Thread - la_birdman
Why did Kylo keep Hux alive?
Because Hux was a coward and immediately recognized the transition from Snoke to Ren after Snoke was gone. He allowed Ren to smack him around, making Ren feel more powerful. Ren just took out Snoke, so with Hux kissing his feet, it made Ren feel...

re: Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi ***SPOILERS*** Thread - la_birdman
I really enjoyed it. Kylo Ren does what not many would think he'd do and kills Snoke. Making him (Kylo) the "supreme leader." Only he doesn't know as much as he thinks he knows. That's evident at the showdown with Luke at the end. If he was so "in touch" with the Force, he would've se...
