Speaking of savage, colbert probably shouldn't have kept saying "that fat guys brain is melting and pooling around his swollen ankles" every night. .. or referring to him as 'not a white guy, he's an orange oompa loompa'. Conducted a nightly roast. I can understand why djt hated the guy.
This kind of logic and truth will anger the devout true believers.
the plan to bomb and demand a deal didn't work. and should be obvious to all now that those mullahs and zealots are never going to agree on a deal. threats of bombing don't matter. they don't care about their people. even worse, alot of them are 'end of days' guys that think the Islamic rapture is imminent.

big problem is that draining strategic oil reserves like we're doing runs out early June. that's when shite hits the fan. better to just keep the embargo, tell them we'll bomb sites periodically, escort through the strait, build alternatives. it's gonna get ugly in June.
Yaw yaw footbaw baby! Let's go.
Charged with two counts of securities fraud (settled and paid damages), four senior staff testified against him for taking bribes as the Texas ag to issue legal opinions protecting Nate Paul (Paul later convicted), job favors for his girlfriend, wife divorced him on 'biblical grounds', impeached by a Republic House. It's a long list. All out there and easily found.

he is running into an entity that just does not care to do that

And this is also why many prior administrations took a different approach (admittedly with little success). DJT seemed to believe it was as simple as gunboat diplomacy and a quick deal. Iran's demands of reparations, control of strait, etc etc. clearly indicate no exit ramp in view. Even worse, what's left of leadership seem to be the 'end of days / Mahdi returns' crowd. This likely becomes his defining legacy.
this, exactly. paxton is a false christian, bribe taking, wife cheating, royal piece of shite. and, he'll do the same thing if elected to the senate. the guy took bribes to issue legal opinions as texas ag to protect Nate Paul, and used a burner phone to communicate with his latest side piece, while crying in church on sunday's and arguing the ten commandments be posted in schools.. his wife divorced him. not often a republican is impeached by the texas senate.

if Cornyn, easy win. If Paxton, Talarico has a decent chance.
Not possible - brylcreem and spray tan said they were defeated and calling because they badly want to make a deal.
back to the 'me and the ayatollah' joint venture toll booth plan soon... which they're collecting in Yuan now apparently. good times.

Credit where credit is due - he was a great mayor. Cleaned up the city and was huge after 9/11. After DJT, poor guy ended up bankrupt and facing two trials in Arizona and Georgia.

defamation case

Then Dominion went after him for a billion dollars

To this day, Trump hasn't paid Guliani's legal bill when he served as his personal attorney..

Giuliani indicated in Arizona
They all told Cheeto to pound sand.
"our fabulous Guliani". Right about everything?! Ffs.... He was the fall guy that Cheeto stiffed badly.

Cheeto wouldn't pay his legal bills after he came up dry stopping the steal. It was listed as an unpaid debt in Guliani's bk.

Even worse poor guy got his arse cleaned by those two Georgia election workers and had to settle the defamation cases against him. Dominion voting sued him for a billion and he tried to settle out of court before filing bankruptcy. This was around the same time Fox News paid Dominion 800 million to settle their defamation case for false claims made by network hosts.

He likely dies still awaiting trial in Arizona and Georgia on counts of election subversion after grand jury charges about fake electors.

Anyone remember the hair dye melt?!

I'm guessing Rudy regrets the day he ever meet the Cheeto Jesus.
Good riddance....

Flying has become a miserable experience. Hopefully it becomes more civilized again as capacity is reduced and 45 dollar flights are gone. Hopefully Frontier is next and the major's continue reducing flights.

This, and the Saudi's declaring force majeure to stop funding LIV.

Silver lining to these high fuel prices.

It's quite the concern, almost devastating.

One side of the Uniparty doesn't care, as long as power is maintained or acquired. The other side only cares slightly more ... to simply give lip service.

this is an accurate statement regarding the current state of affairs. it's barely mentioned in passing. jamie dimon mentioned it this week as well, warning we'll have disorderly bond market at some point soon and it's sad we lack the political maturity to deal with it before a crisis.
Vance tried to explain this apparently. They have a messianic tradition, in leadership, that believes this action precedes the return of Mahdi.

"The Mahdi (Arabic for "the Guided One") is a messianic figure in Islamic eschatology prophesied to appear near the end of time to rid the world of evil and injustice and establish a global era of peace and justice."
