I could careless if the players feel comfortable with the HC

That’s good, but how much less could you care? A lot?

No. It makes more sense to give the guy with head coaching experience the interim tag until the next season. Kind of like naming orgeron interim with aranda as DC.

Don't think for one moment if he had gone undefeated he would not be the next LSU Head coach! LoL

Then he would have to be hired as head coach. With a new contract. Also, if he went undefeated, and was hired as head coach, would it be a DEI hire?

Gotta be honest…I have no interest in watching this offense in the Texas Bowl against Houston. Nothing about that is appealing.

I understand that. And you should be able to do something else with your time and money guilt free. But that doesn’t mean it means nothing to the young guys, the guys way down the depth chart, and the fans who want to see lsu play football any chance they can.

He was already on the staff and the only one with HC experienced. It’s not like he was hired as HC.
Don’t like the bowl games, don’t go. It’s that easy. What’s the point of complaining about more football? Seems more pointless than the bowl itself.

Well he was the interim HC. Why is that DEI?
I don’t think we are 15th in conference. But I understand why you feel that way watching us get dominated like that. That’s probably a preview of our Alabama and Vanderbilt games.
Seems like the defensive gameplan was don’t let toppin beat us. And Anderson pantsed us. Not a good showing. Pretty terrible shooting from 3 as well.
Just play good basketball in the 2nd half. Might be out of reach already. Tech plays good defense.
TTU defense is bothering us.

Can we move on from the Will Wade romance?

You had me here. It’s time for some of us to move on.

His team is getting schooled by Steven Pearl at Auburn. They’re dropping 3s like dimes on his NC State boys. He ain’t it.

And then you lost me. People
Should move on because will wade isnt and won’t be coach here again. Not because he “ain’t it”, which isn’t really even true. He’s been good everywhere he’s been.
I think it should be a team decision. Bowls can be fun, some guys might get a chance to play who don’t normally.

What are you basing this opinion on?
lol, you think LsU fans would be different in the same situation?
I’m more relieved than excited. I
Was afraid we might end up with worse than kiffin. Time will tell with him, but at least we know he’s capable of competing in the transfer/NIL world. So the 6-6/7-5 seasons should remain our floor.

seems possible those misses were due to low payroll

I am completely ignorant to the budget or deals that the players get.

Matt McMahon is a very solid basketball coach who catches a lot of flack because he doesn’t show a ton of emotion on the bench

McMahon hasn’t shown roster management as a strength. Just some big misses on players in the portal. He also really hasn’t shown much to even justify this statement.
The body language police will always be out, and it’s dumb, but the majority of his criticism is because of on the court results.
Would be kind of funny to me if ole miss hired Joe Brady somehow. And brought in orgeron as an assistant
