Yeah. It’s insane. I wanted Myles to work out. He’s stuck with the program but if he’s really 2nd or 3rd talenwise then I’m glad BK is making it known instead of giving him preference

Cherry pick however you want I really don't care who starts, I just think Nuss is more the complete package and Daniels will get sacked alot trying to run around and make plays. A QB who can run is a good thing when you need it but it don't need to be his best attribute.

This

Late Les miles era qbs all over again is reason people are skeptical.

It’s crazy how people are already shitting on Daniels and he hasn’t taken one official snap as a Tiger. Give him the benefit of the doubt atleast man, esp if our 100m dollar coach has allegedly chosen him

You would think this would be the attitude here. This place is traumatized from all of the horrendous QB competitions over the years lol

Said this yesterday and will again.

This was always a Nuss v Daniels competition. Since he arrived I’ve said it’s Jayden Daniels and it’s looking more likely but would’ve been happy either, whoever won the competition

If Nuss can snatch the job from JD, he deserves it but this competition started in the fall and never ended. It continued through summer and that’s where the separation occurred and has continued through the fall.

IMO, Myles wasn’t doing what he needed to be where Nuss and JD are right now and that’s the sad truth.

You MB fans can’t want it more than him. Don’t feel bad, nobody has benefited more from NIL without having to take the field

Wasn't impressed by his spring game, he's fast I'll give him that. Guess we will just have to trust BK

YouTube

this is what this kid was doing as a freshman. we get him back in this form and it’s gonna be scary for opposing defenses

You mean with Miles? Kelly is letting a 6th year kid walk. He trusts what we have

I assume you’re referencing Jennings and Harris. Both of those guys left LSU and were both horrendous in their other stops. Daniels was actually good in his other stops. And we don’t have Les Miles or Ed Orgeron making the decision on who wins the job. Whoever wins will have earned it. And Kelly has shown he will make a change if his QB is struggling.

2 reasons… history of dual threat qb’s at LSU and he’s a black man…

I think it's the history of dual threat QBs at LSU and not necessarily the guy's color.

We as fans have only truly seen the guy once, in the Spring Game. So that's what people are building their opinion of him on. Which is idiotic, but to each his own I guess.

I'm excited. Threat with his arm and his legs. Has had a good camp by all reports, really has started clicking with his teammates. He'll have far more weapons here than he ever had at Arizona St.

Why dude has a heck of an arm and the ability to run opens up the passing game more than a statue standing back there?

For depth I hope it’s Nuss. I could see Nuss transferring if Daniels gets the nod

It would be mind boggling stupid for him to transfer this year. He already used his redshirt last year, so this is a year of eligibility no matter what he chooses.

He would begin a 12 game season playing behind a dual threat QB (i.e. more susceptible to injury) after what was, by all-accounts, a close battle for the starting job. The chance of him not seeing at last some action this year is miniscule, and the likelihood of him getting significant playing time in a system he knows is infinitely better here than anywhere else.

Now, if he transferred mid-season or later, that would still be very short sided, but at least makes some sense.
