This guy is right. Just wait until you read about what SCOTT actually did behind the scenes.

Particularly regarding Coach O and B. Davis.
What is this about?
No one will say it. What happened with Brad Davis and sloan?

You actually believe OP's bullshite? I'm amazed at how stupid our fans can be.
I get no on line street cred for being right. I dont care if you think I'm full of shite. Just telling what I have been hearing from very credible sources. Everything is subject to change, but I can tell you that as of last night, this is the latest news from some very well connected contacts.

Not necessarily. Are you saying the sky IS falling?

We are going to be just fine.
Just like it’s always been when there’s uncertainty around the athletic program. Everyone always forgets that, though, and panics like children.

no matter what Landy is or isnt aware of.

It’s because the governor ran his mouth and painted everyone into a corner. Now it looks terrible. If he has kept his mouth shut this wouldn’t have been a national story.
That part I agree and have no problem with people being upset with the governor about. But I have seen plenty of people upset that Woodward wasn’t retained. That was never going to happen if you want to keep the big donors happy.

This is what I want people to talk about. There is more to this situation than just Woody being a Democrat and refusing to rehire Will Wade.

I thought he went to Tulane?

At least he is a president of a university. Tate had no presidential experience. Tate was the first presidential hire that didn’t have any experience as a president since a hire was made in the 1970s.
He had been provost at schools better than LSU. No different than hiring an up and coming coordinator.

I don’t understand why people are so upset about Woody being fired. The people that spend all of the money on these buyouts and NIL budgets wanted him gone. They wanted to fire MM. So they could hire Will Wade and Woody told them no. Then they wanted to fire BK and Woody told them no again. So they went to the one person that could get it done in Landry. You keep standing in the way and eventually you are going to be removed. It’s too bad but that was always going to be how that went.
And if the story is true that WW fired BK before running it by the board first that is absurd. With how massive his buyout is you do not make that type of impulsive decision without being in alignment and getting a proper funding plan to pay his buyout

Believe what I say or dont, I dont care.
We are going to be just fine. We have a donor, not Chicken Man, that is worth north of 5 billion dollars and he loves the Tigers. Willing to pay the buyout for Kelly and Woody. The BOS is ready to offer Saban up to $14 million per for 5 yrs with a $30 million yearly budget in NIL. That will be for any coach that we hire but it will start with Nick. Its unlikely that UF or OM can match that for Lane.
Woody did himself in. There is alot more going on with him behind the scenes that will not make it out due to gag orders. Particularly regarding Coach O and B. Davis.
We have much deeper pockets that you think and no tax payers will feel the financial strain, no matter what Landy is or isnt aware of.
Rouse will be named President any day now as well
Have a great day and Geaux Tigahs

It’s Rousse, don’t want anyone thinking he’s related to Donny.
I have a longtime friend that played basketball for McNeese and is a major financial contributor. He said we are getting a good one.
Can confirm that Graves helped with the buyout, but he’s not the main money supply. I’m no Landry fan, but he made the all happen more rapidly than it would have, and wants a successful hire so he can use that for his future Presidential run (don’t laugh, he habors the same delusions that Piyash did)
I’ve been told by someone very very close to things that the coach is already lined up, it’s not any of the names being tossed around but that I’d be very very happy.

Tate isn’t even an option! He’s not in the mix!
Tate btw was more likely a liberal DEI hire.
He’s just not relevant in this discussion.

If Saban accepts a 5 year contract and returns here, I will drop to the floor, curl up in a fetal position and cry tears of joy like a baby. Minimum of 2 more NC’s. And a new hand picked up and comer in 5 years.
