Thats pretty much what I heard as well.

I am not an insider but I know some guys who know much more than I do about all of this. They could be way TF off but the info has been pretty solid in the past. If it changes and I look like an idiot because I said one thing and another happened, I dgaf. I just like to share what I hear with people on here who love LSU like I do.

Boomer Sooner huh?

Not gonna lie, I don’t think he’s worth that amount of money but I’m not the one paying him. I’d like to have him as a coach but if it were me, I’d throw 13 mil a year and 25 mil in NIL to Dillingham and let him cook. This is getting ridiculous.

I am feeling more and more like this each day, honestly

uhhh, Verges first call was to Saban. Discussions were fairly serious. Kiffin was our second choice, and Nick was assisting

Yes, Saban was the first call, but I think more out of crossing that off of the list. Obviously, he would be the first call but the confidence that he would come back was never very high from our Administration. Kiffin was our first realistic choice

Getting really close to that number for sure.

Why Kiffin hasnt signed yet

Posted by ChuckUFarley on 11/24/25 at 9:25 am
The plan was 100% for Lane to sign on Friday. LSU side had already planned on it. The meeting with OM happened and they begged for him to coach the Egg Bowl. LSU and OM agree to allow it. That delayed signing the MOU that LSU believed had already been signed. UF has used the last couple of days to throw out some wild counter offers. LSU countered with its largest and likely final offer. We are talking around $16mil a year with over $32mil in NIL funds. It is still leaning in our favor. UF has actually began talks with Brent Key. I still have my money on Kiffin and love the tenacity we have for getting our first choice, but it is worrisome when you talk about that much money. Anyway, thats all I have at this point.
This is 100% legit and verified through my source. As a matter of fact, I got the exact same text

I gotcha. Thanks for clarifying

re: Uclub Locker Room

It has probably been taken down by now.

He does not have credible sources. Ask him what happened to all the Saban talk he was spouting

I never said that we were getting Saban. I said that there were talks with him and what we were planning to offer. I know that information was correct and you will too when it comes out. If it comes out.

But why the frick did we fire Woodward?

Basically for going rogue.

The better question is what does our side have on BK for cause. You could check in the locker room of the Uclub for a hint

I believe you have credible sources unlike some on this site, but I truly believe my guy is very well informed as well. just out of curiosity, have you heard a number from your sources?

I dont see any advantage you or myself would gain to say some bullshite for a message board that we are anonymous on, thats why I ask what you may have heard.

I have no doubt that 7/120 is an actual number that is being offered but I dont know if that includes incentives. It could be a max number
You could be 100% right. In that case, The Mad Russian would be my first choice and I am not sure he isnt already if I were asked, but they wont be asking my opinion
I am not saying it is a good idea to pay that much, I believe that it is coming from a place of posturing. Trying to show that we have more than enough $$$ and to get the fractured fanbase to forget all of the transgressions if we land the "Big Fish" of this cycle. It also reeks of desperation and IMO is not a good look.

I wouldnt bring it to the board if I thought it was BS. I know for a fact that they were willing to give Saban $60mil for 3-4 yrs, so this would actually be a discount. Like I said, I dont know the incentives, I dont know if $17mil is if every bonus is maxed out, I just dont know those details. It could work out to be closer to $14-$15 mil per typical season.

His initials are SW

He told me long about Nuss's injury long before it was common knowledge, He knew BK was gone hours before it broke. He is very reliable

Hearing from where?

We need people to at least give us an idea of how close the source would be in LSU administration building

You realize that putting the name out there means you will get no more inside news? I will say that my guy is very involved with the program and has been very reliable. You can check my post history for more details.
I dont know any more details or what the buyout or incentives look like, but $17 per year is ridiculous. I do like the aggression though
