Our 4th of July Flag tournament. Every player uses their handicap and when you reach it, you place your flag wherever your last shot landed. So if you're a 10 handicap, you put the flag in after your 82nd shot. Always fun to see who can go more than 18 holes.

Thats a pretty unique tournament. Sound like a fun round
I play in the Crawfish Tournament at Frenchman's Bend in Monroe every year. 3 days of golf. 3 Man Scramble that ends with decent prizes and all the crawfish and beer you can handle. Mid-April so it's not outrageously hot.

Painting my storage shed and shop building to match the house this weekend. Been wanting to do that for the past year. Will probably put some shrubs along the sides of the buildings and by the doors and hand some barn lights. Should make a huge difference
That is a wild stat. He was dominant in his day. The only thing I can say that would lead to a yeah but, was that he pitched in what was called the dead ball era. He pitched from ’65 – ’80. There were only (2) 50 HR seasons in that stretch. And back then the AL and NL didn’t play each other in the regular season. The top HR hitters in that time stretch were Willie Mays , Mike Schmiidt, Hank Aaron, Harmon Killebrew and Willie Stargell. Of that group, only Killebrew played in the AL with Palmer. Well and include Reggie Jackson, but bounced back and forth in both leagues.

Fantastic show!! Real curious who the man in the yellow suit is. Counting down for 4/19

I dont know who plays those balls but I can say they are definitely not worth the money. Especially when you play the way that I do at times

Have this really bad habbit that pops up off and on. Always accompanied by swinging too hard. Any tips or drills to correct this, other than just "keep your head down" haha?

When I am doing this, it usually means that I have too much weight on my toes and not in the middle of my feet if that makes sense. Shift your weight back some and that usually cures the problem for me.

Philly got lucky

It wasnt luck. It was actually a FLUID situation. You cant pin everything on something out of your control but he shared what he was hearing. Lots of us did.

Thats pretty much what I heard as well.

I am not an insider but I know some guys who know much more than I do about all of this. They could be way TF off but the info has been pretty solid in the past. If it changes and I look like an idiot because I said one thing and another happened, I dgaf. I just like to share what I hear with people on here who love LSU like I do.

Not gonna lie, I don’t think he’s worth that amount of money but I’m not the one paying him. I’d like to have him as a coach but if it were me, I’d throw 13 mil a year and 25 mil in NIL to Dillingham and let him cook. This is getting ridiculous.

I am feeling more and more like this each day, honestly

uhhh, Verges first call was to Saban. Discussions were fairly serious. Kiffin was our second choice, and Nick was assisting

Yes, Saban was the first call, but I think more out of crossing that off of the list. Obviously, he would be the first call but the confidence that he would come back was never very high from our Administration. Kiffin was our first realistic choice

Why Kiffin hasnt signed yet

The plan was 100% for Lane to sign on Friday. LSU side had already planned on it. The meeting with OM happened and they begged for him to coach the Egg Bowl. LSU and OM agree to allow it. That delayed signing the MOU that LSU believed had already been signed. UF has used the last couple of days to throw out some wild counter offers. LSU countered with its largest and likely final offer. We are talking around $16mil a year with over $32mil in NIL funds. It is still leaning in our favor. UF has actually began talks with Brent Key. I still have my money on Kiffin and love the tenacity we have for getting our first choice, but it is worrisome when you talk about that much money. Anyway, thats all I have at this point.
