With NIL , Wilson’s importance to holding down LA recruiting is vastly overrated
With Ashton stamps offically entering the portal , toviano is now the last remaining Robert steeples recruit. Major credit to how quickly Raymond rebuilt the room steeples left a very bare cup
Wish the kid well. During a period where the cb room was dire, he stepped up and never shorted you on effort. Unfortunately just didn’t have the athleticism or ball skills to be a starting boundary cb on an elite sec defense . Big 12 would be a great fit for him

We should hit the portal for 1 WR not multiple. Look how that turned out this year, such a waste of resources.

Yea I honestly think one impact guy at wr and developing the rest of the room is the way to go. Brown, Anderson and hill all got in the way of more snaps for a guy like Kyle Parker.
Apparently you missed Texas getting dominated vs a 4-8 Florida team … give me a break

he transfer DBs in 2022 and this year were great. However the transfer DBs in 2023 were the WOAT.

That was the least talented backend in program history . Pretty sure Andre Sam was the guy drafted from that secondary and he went in the 6th round. We were at a dire dire place at corner without Raymond steeples was an atrocious recruiter Ashton stamps was prob his only decent recruit
His inability to have the team prepared for big games or his lazy approach to recruiting ?

Agree. People are judging an OL that had lousy coaching and a terrible offensive scheme. We have talent on the Oline..Need to find a center and another OT. Anyone know anything about OM center this

Exactly the o line didn’t have a chance to succeed with a god awful scheme, guys play out of position and poor coaching behind that. Miss’s starting center is a RS SO who’s 6’6 310…. Pretty nice size for a center
Your over exaggerating . QB’s for sure. Receivers yes but the cup isn’t bare like your making it sound. Have two top 150 guys coming in in Jabari Mack and Corey barber, Kyle Parker is talented , taron Francis has ability, decent chance Aaron Anderson returns. OL is one of the most misunderstood positions in this site did they underperform this year ? Yes but did they have a shitty offensive line coach who didn’t put them in position to succeed ? Yes theirs a lot of talent on this offensive line carius curne will most likely be moved back to guard , Solomon Thomas is extremely talented and will be healthy next year , Echols improved, Tyree Adams will prob be back , ory williams showed a lot of ability at RT before he got hurt , we have the most athletic tackle prospect in the country coming in in Bryson Martinez so idk why your acting like it’s a bare cup that fricking false add some more depth at center behind Moore, maybe add another tackle but acting like we need a brand new starting 5 OL filled with transfers is being dramatic.

The defense mainly needs some help at edge. Wym safety? We have Dashawn spears coming back , Cooley can return, Jhase Thomas , no.1 safety in LA, is back for year 2 and a tremendous athlete look for him to have a role in year 2. If Cooley declares for the draft tho then yea you gotta add more then.

At DL, loaded historic freshmen class coming in, Dom Dom and breaux will be jrs, Mathis and Zion have promise, we also will have one of the best cb duos in the country in Pickett/woodland along with talented depth behind them in Anding, Finney, Jackson , Turner
Seems that kid is too tight with deuce knight to flip
Imagine a backend of Aidan Anding in the slot with Pickett /finney outside ….. clamps

I honestly don't think BK was checked out (besides playing too much golf). He really wanted to win a NC, but I think he lacks the talent to be a HC that can win the big games consistently to do that.

Some coaches just lack the ability to get there team up for big games. It was the same with mark richt at GA before Kirby. The signs were there outside the bama gsme year 1.

Got embarrassed vs FSU in year 2 in a primetime big spot top 10 game

Getting blown out vs bama in a playoff eliminator game in year 3

Losing to vandy
Getting blown out vs A&M in a playoff eliminator game

He simply was not the guy you wanted on your sideline in big time matchups

So can we cut his brother now?

It was flat out lazy that the old regime assumed simply signing his brother worker be enough to sign him. It was damning that Bradford’s pops said OSU was on him harder
The effort he’s already putting in to build relationships is a breath of fresh air and always really shows just how checked out BK was from a recruiting standpoint

Barber is more polished route runner

Agreed and faster downfield. That kid has the skillset to contribute right now. Also has good size at 6’1 180
Yall need to let lane Kiffin do his damn job and trust him
Time will tell if that’s the right call but I 100 percent am behind any decision Kiffin makes on offense. Kiffin values explosiveness and ball skills at wr. I love Darby wish he stayed but this kid absolutely does have more burst than Darby does. Hate it came at the expense of Darby but This was a great great add
Frank Wilson has a massive ego that’s what’s goin on

re: Lamar Brown reaction to the decommits

I think the Darby one hurt a lot of guys’s feelings. He was tight with a lot of guys in the class

Cortez hankton was truly abysmal

Posted by Cd104 on 12/2/25 at 5:42 pm
It’s damning the second Kiffin and McDonald got here 2 of his commits have been processed. His wr recruiting has been atrocious. Kyle Parker is the closest hankton recruit that’s developed. Watkins , Sampson , billiot didn’t develop under him. He also continuously was left at the alter by big fishers like Dakorien Moore and Tristen keys .
