Where is the money for basketball coming from?

It’s not coming from the football budget!
Hopefully it’s not coming from baseball because we can win a lot of nattys over the next years with Jay and he needs the money.
WBB is largely funded by Kim’s donors that aren’t donating elsewhere and will not donate when she retires.
Regardless…. Not my money. Let’s ride with the General! Glad he’s back and hope he can prove the rest of the sport and all the haters wrong. F ‘em.
Insane incoming class so far.

Wade is raising his own money and basketball turns a profit unlike baseball. College baseball is fun in SEC territory, but it is not even in the same stratosphere as college basketball nationally, there is a ton more money on the basketball side.

Will Wade is excellent at raising funds and being very well connected with donors and the fan base. I’m sure LSU has given him a good budget being Men’s Basketball generates a net profit for the department.

The problem with a football player wanting to play hoops is Wade doesn’t have time to introduce a player in the middle of sec play
Plus Wade usually has a 8 man rotation by then and that’s really tough to crack when you miss all of summer and preseason practice time
