A lot of the issues were coaching and scheme. We are halfway through the season and we can’t re-bake these f*cked up cookies. The best we can hope for is serving them on a nicer platter.
The interim coach is a stop gap to get us through the season. Hopefully we can find someone that knows how to bake a damn cookie next season

He’s a class act, he cares about the program & the players and there was no other choice better to keep the train moving. I don’t think he will get serious consideration for the head coach, but I hope he’s on this coaching staff next year

I’d advise against anything spring assist. Maybe I have bad luck, but if had the spring fail a few times. It’s the weak link. Just get a flipper

There are fundamental differences between boxing and mma. Boxing is all striking with the head being a likely target. As such, an athlete gets more significant strikes to the head. The more padded gloves mean more ability to endure more strikes.
Also, a downed opponent gets swarmed in mma, which could lead to a quicker finish, as opposed to a boxer getting time to recover.
It’s all about repeated head trauma and there’s more of that in boxing
