those are different numbers than they had been wearing in practice clips they have been putting online.

its interesting that LSU greats with retired numbers all have fairly high numbers, 23 for the pistol being the lowest

23- pete
33- diesel
35 -mahmoud
40 macklin
50 petit

(wearing wayde Sims 44 might be considered classless altho Adam Miller wore it)

so the players have access to all numbers below 23.

The greatest at paying players from his personal checking account.

How does a HC become that stupid? Then lie about it to LSU administrators. Self and Pearl didnt PERSONALLY pay players, so the NCAA lacked any real hard evidence against them

none of that is particularly irresponsible as the NCAA is just a sporting rules org and cannot listen to phone calls and subpeona personal checking accounts.

wade just had bad luck being listened to by the feds on an unrelated case.

everyone was doing this and there was no reason for wade to think the feds cared about basketball recruiting. which they shouldn't have.
I watched the whole interview. its interesting the NIL talk and the scheduling and player eval stuff. will wade is very smart.

>That's literally what 5 Star means

i think it means they have first round draft potential, not that they are ready to be day one starters. many 5 stars are 5 star athletic monsters that still require skills to become starters and eventually first round picks.

thats why the rating services give as many 5 stars per season as the sport has draft picks. these are the 32 most likely guys to be first rounders. not necessarily day one college starters.
would have been convenient for skenes to live there for when he is traded to the richest team in baseball, the new york metropolitans

not even close. we never heard of it

The percentage of female students at LSU has gone up each of the last 3 years

why is that good? most universities are majority female now.

but even more so the past like 6, before making these blanket statements. The caliber of student that LSU is accepting today, is way better than the caliber student that was accepted in the mid 2000s. We are way stronger of an academic school than we've ever been

I took an 18 year break between my junior and senior year, graduated a few years ago. so I went to school decades ago and also recently.

its correct that the students are higher quality now, at least it was until they went test optional when it ruined everything and the student body went to shite. there are kids on campus now who are morons and do not belong there.

as for the topic, there is no real evidence suggesting that a winning women's team helps anything

By that logic high schools shouldn’t have sports or clubs

its ok for a high school to lose 50k to pay for uniforms and travel.

LSU women are losing 8 million.

there should be a cap on losses. maybe 1.5 million. spend enough to travel well and keep the players happy with nice food etc.

we should pay a coach millions when their sport is not losing money.

TV contracts, not disinterest, is putting WBB in the red

the reason for bad TV contracts is lack of interest.

probably makes more money than any other program in the country

they lose millions
quote:

LSU and the WBB team can't do anything about that

of course they could, they could spend way less

give millions to the men and see how many 5 star players they can buy
quote:

You literally can't ask more of them

well you could ask them to not lose massive money

why aren't the men allowed to lose 6 million or whatever a year? surely that 6 million could buy an amazing team
seems like a nice kid, hope he wallops dingers and salamis and racks up ribeyes and wins another natty asap

naz came in to LSU playing pretty well, and then got better. by the the end of his only season he was spectacular. he was a LOAD taking the rock to the rack. i was stunned he was not drafted.

i was a huge optimist about his career but he has been way better than even i expected. he is a sniper from deep. bigs with a shot like his dont come around often.

congrats to big rich naz
"yeah Jay is a good coach, alright. before you go, did I tell you about the hurricane that hit starkville? did a million dollars worth of improvements heheheh"

the one and only kooky LSU fan I like is Mike toole, basketball fanatic. the rest are clowns.

mike toole is the the king.
23 was better, skenes was already maybe the best pitcher on earth and it was incredible. tommy tanks was a real goofy fun character.

skenes/crews top two overall picks.

plus trey Morgan was the best defender every to put on a glove at LSU. and crews dominated. and they had to come through the losers bracket vs way better teams. wake forest that year was incredible. and Florida was awesome.

this year we had two aces and it was too easy. coastal sucks. West Virginia sucks.
