LOL.. how dumb are you .

There’s 0 percent chance they are considering starting him unless he just wows them at practices.

LOL.. Amazing logic, if he sucks 0% chance he plays, if he WOWS them at practice, then maybe consider playing him ??

They wanted Gabriel. He was clearly their guy.

LOL.. until they drafted ANOTHER QB

He was a bust in the SEC despite trying to achieve that level of play,

It didn't work out ..but he was able to win the starting job at LSU and AU..not a lot kids can do that at one SEC school

He’s cost himself tens of millions of dollars in contract money and is now an all-time draft night dropper. Not good however you look at it

This happens every year. What did he do to "cost" himself?... What should he have done different?

He's doing one final pick on August 30th

LSU vs Clemson ??.. but probably UT at OSU
Cheesesteaks (unless there is already a truck doing them). Seems like you could streamline the process easily.

graduated LSU in 1998. Didn’t have TOPS so I went on mostly student loans and small grants. Finished 4 year degree with a total student loan debt of around $16k and that included money used for books and other fees.

I couldn’t imagine leaving a 4 year undergrad with six figure debt. It’s just insanity.

That is because you paid your rent and food out of your pocket, or you lived at home. Tuition at LSU will run the OP about 4-5k a year....The other 20k each year is for dorm or rent and food

Why would they do that ? It is not like the home games sell out and nobody likes going to that part of town, CHS tolerates it because Olympia is too small for the football games, but Grizzly field is enough room

it functions at all community colleges in the state, genius. nobody has to leave home to find room and board to get a 2 year degree.

LOL.. you can do basically the same thing with TOPS in LA.. stay at home, get tuition paid for, have mom/dad pay living and food expenses. I just don't get how you started off saying college cost included tuition/living/food and then turned it into TN offers a great deal but only pays tuition part of the college cost... OPs whole issue is with the living and food costs, which LSU will probably only get for 1 year, most move off campus after that

in TN they pay for 2 years of college to get an associates degree for every graduating senior regardless of grades.

LOL - "well, they have to have a place to eat and sleep unless you want them living out of their car & eating at mcdonalds." .. Who is paying this extra 15-20k per year ?

TN Promise just covers the actual tuition very similar to TOPS.. if you are getting 7-8k at LSU, that may cover full tuition at another in state LA school about .. but NOT room and meal plan...which TN does not pay either

Guess I am old school... Money for rent and food was never included in any calculation when determining what college "cost" when I was in college. The fee bill was always cheap because there was not living expenses or food on it.

Estimated Yearly Direct Cost

Tuition & Fees: $12,472 (Louisiana Resident)

Food: $5,400

Housing: $10,004

Directly from LSU website. LINK

You are including Housing and Meal plan, that is more than the tuition.. Tuition is only 12,472 then you will get the 7 - 8k TOPs. So the cost of school will be only 20ish, but for your to pay all your kids expenses and let them party for 4 years.. lol.. will be another 70-80k, unless they go Greek add another 20-40k to the bill.

I get that.. my point was there are 3-4 field complexes that are unused for tournaments all the time in the area.. Now if we were talking about a 10 field complex or bigger, yes that would be an attractive facility , but also would cost a lot more to build than those soccer fields
Just looking at the satellite view. (assuming the photo is accurate) Looks like there are 7 soccer fields. I am guessing that would be enough room for 3 maybe 4 baseball fields. So how much money could a 3 or 4 field complex really generate ?

Former Gonzaga Center Enters Transfer Portal, Expected to Pursue Lawsuit Against NCAA to Reclaim Eligibility

]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Former Gonzaga center Efton Reid entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday despite not having any remaining eligibility, having played one season at LSU, one at Gonzaga, and the last two years as a starter at Wake Forest.

Reid is reportedly expected to pursue legal action against the NCAA to reclaim a season of eligibility for 2023-24, stemming from a second-time transfer rule that kept him out for the first seven games of the season.

Interesting.. I bet they are actually hiding the cheaper tickets, so they can profit more.

Mateen Cleaves Michigan State

from Wiki

quote:

Cleaves, a three-time Michigan State captain, led the Spartans to the 2000 national championship, and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.[3][4]

The school's only three-time All-American, Cleaves was named Big Ten Player of the Year twice. He led MSU and the conference in career assists with 816, and is Michigan State's all-time steals leader (193). In his final home game on senior night in East Lansing, Cleaves dished out 20 assists, breaking the Big Ten single-game and career assist marks.

How does any of that scream "Most overrated college basketball player"

Maybe you meant to start a topic called "College basketball stars whose game did not translate to the NBA" :dunno:

Blew the lead but still won..the excuses for WW would have been epic if clem would have won... if any other tiger coach or former coach pulled that all the "fans" would still consider it a loss and would be hoping to lose the next game to get rid of em
