1. MBB under Wade has much more funding than LSU Baseball could ever imagine. WW does much of his own fundraising, FYI.

2. WBB has been ultra successful in getting its players outside NIL contracts. Once again LSU WBB is better financed than LSU Baseball, FYI, although much of that money comes from NIL contracts LSUWBB seeks for its girls.

Note: I love these sports and am a season ticket holder in baseball, MBB, and WBB.

I know a major donor for MBB. They donate to all LSU sports, but probably the most to Wade, Johnson, and Mulkey. On the plane that brought Wade back to BR.

College baseball is fun in SEC territory, but it is not even in the same stratosphere as college basketball nationally,

No one outside of the Deep South and some of the west coast give a shite about college baseball. How this board doesn’t understand that is amazing.

Money is part of it, but his 5 years at LSU put several players on NBA rosters. That attracts people too.

Nobody’s even mentioned that you probably only need $10-15M to roster a competitive team.

I decided to close out my savings account since all of my kids are older now and I just send that portion of my check to the basketball program each pay period.

It’s only $1 million a month, but I figure every little bit helps.

I had no idea Hudson is the 17th overall player in the nation.

I knew he was good but didn't realize he was ranked that high.

Now I see why he wants to try and play both.

You ever been in a suite in Tiger Stadium? I’ve been in a number. Walk around and look on the placards, they will tell you who and what’s giving the money. Same with the Baseball suites.
Baseball, look at the outfield walls.

yes and I will believe he can make it work when i see it (playing both)

I agree. I think being a hybrid TE type gives him an opportunity to do both. Certain positions might require him to have to pick.
