10-2 this year but at least 11-1 next year. 2024 will be our year

Lose to FSU
Run the table to end up 11-1
Lose to Georgia in SEC Championship
Wax Clemson in the Orange Bowl (Jayden Daniels opts out for the NFL Draft, Nuss has a huge game)

Why is everyone predicting we lose to UGA if we make it that far? If we beat FSU and Bama or split those two, I see no way we lose to UGA. I understand they won back to back ships, but they have a new starting QB who the UGA fan base has doubts about. Their secondary is younger than it was last season and they got abused by real receivers. The UGA team this year isn’t anywhere near what it has been the last two seasons.

LSU will be ready for the big games; it’s the games they are supposed to win are the problem. On the road at Missouri could be a trap game.

We will have our usual tough games.
The question is do we have the necessary big surprises like we had in 2019.
Will our QB improve as much as JB improved from 2018. 2022 version of JD isn't good enough
Will our receivers and qb play at the level of our 2019 receivers and QB? After last year and the disappointment of one highly touted receiver, we just don't know at this time.
Will we find a shut down CB and dependable/star safety to stop giving up ridiculous huge plays, like we did in 2019.
The formula is still fresh in our minds and it could be a reality. Not many teams have all the ingredients...LSU might very well, but as for all teams usually, the ball has to bounce in our favor. I bought 4 seasons tickets again in the belief that there is a decent chance. Geaux Tigers!

I think the bar is set at 9-3. Anything less and BK is on the hot seat for 2024. Do tou agree?

If we have to lose a game we shouldn’t, Mississippi St would certainly be the most tolerable

I want to say 11-1, so I'll go 10-2

10-2

Still lacking top end talent in some places. Could go 12-0 with some fortuitous bounces of the ball.

I'm leaning toward a 10-2 regular season, but I could see 11-1 as well. A perfect season would require us to get a lot of breaks and stay injury-free. It's not impossible, but it's unlikely. That said, anything worse than 9-3 and a NY6 bowl would be a huge letdown with the amount of talent we have coming back.

we hear that every year about Alabama.

You do realize that UGA's recruiting, like Bama's, has been elite, and there are 4 and 5-stars reserves from last year that are stepping into starting positions.

Just because guys graduate doesn't mean there will be a dropoff - not when the recruiting has been elite for years. They'll just reload.

I can see us going 11-1. Dont know where that loss comes, but I dont doubt it. Really dont mind us dropping the opening game to FSU as an early wake up call that preseason rankings dont matter & FSU is going to be the real deal this year. Plus, a loss to an OOC team wouldnt effect us for SECCG contention. Give me FSU in the playoffs for our real revenge game.

We don't have a perfect roster. I think we win some close games this year. Floor is 8-4. Ceiling is 12-0. I think some of us have forgotten how bad we were at times last year. If we start the FSU game fast, i'll feel really good about the season.
