It makes perfect sense. You call the player or agents/coaches. Get a little intel or feel out the player with some conversation of where they are in this process. Then quickly decide if you want to move forward. LSU did this with D. Ricks and looks like they have done the same with him.

This team reminds me of the 2020 football team. Orgeron brought in all those starters from OOS that were either busts or didn’t play as a team. Just were there for the cash and the brand. ...

We don’t have timely hitting at all. We just hit 1-2 run homes 3-4 times a game and that’s all the offense we have. If a player or two is off this is the result...

I would be shocked if at least 1-2 of these guys didn’t transfer after spring. You essentially have 5 legitimate guys competing for 1 spot leaving 2 of those 5 gaining most 4th and 5th WR reps. Then 3 of those plus the other 4 competing for 6th+ WR spot.
