Dude is done in CFB. He might have gotten the half-year suspension if it was only MLB bets, but betting on CFB and on your own team’s games is an easy perma-ban.

What do they do? Take away his phone so he can’t log in to Draft Kings?

Take your phone away and make you watch sports without it. I wonder if they let you drink?

In his defense he bet them to win while he was a redshirt fresh and not on the field. So he wasn't throwing games it appears

Rules are rules. Neat thing is this may be in Indiana courts instead of Texas so it being in Indiana, they're less likely if at all willing to throw it out since anything against TT helps Indiana out ultimately.

While throwing games would be worse, it really doesn’t matter. He would have inside information on matchups, injuries, etc. He can’t do what he did. .

Which is what people fail to understand about how serious what Pete Rose did was.

Tech will just get a Texas judge to rule him eligible

Honestly, this shouldn’t be dismissed as a possibility.

The NCAA hasn’t been able to enforce any of its eligibility rules when challenged.

Every state he has to travel to can get a judge to rule he is ineligible in their state… Especially if they don’t allow gaming in their state.

This might carryover into the pros once he's out of eligibility

I believe he is out, meaning this was his last year because I believe he redshirted as a freshman. I would imagine with no spring portal makes for an interesting qb room for TT. It's the world and state of collegiate athletics we live in.

"any player who wagers on their own games or on other sports at their own school will potentially face permanent loss of eligibility in all sports."

Yeah, I don't see how he gets out of this.

I was hoping someone would start a post on this.

You are absolutely right—I would rather take a chance on the transfer QBs that LSU signed than Sorsby.

Why didn’t they do that with Chambliss?

Ya think?

Actually LSU luck may have turned a corner. In past times we would have overpaid nd then lost him for any various reasons
