re: Cox bought. out by spectrum

Yeah I saw that email last night (I have cox home internet), noticed this section…

quote:

Free mobile service To welcome you to Spectrum, you can get one line of mobile service free for a year. We’re America’s fastest growing mobile provider and are confident in our service. You are never locked into a contract with any Spectrum product. Plus, we guarantee you’ll save over $1,000 per year by switching to Spectrum Internet and Mobile, or we’ll cover the difference.
We’re going May 2027… 4 nights in Rome + 7 days RoyalC cruise Italy to Greece and turkey. Never been, but looking forward to the trip. We’re staying at Pantheon hotel couple days before the cruise and Westin Excelsior couple days after the cruise. I used Marriott points for both hotel stays.

Keep us posted on your trip!
Why is she doing that? Need context

I get tired of nonstop everything being labeled racism, and I feel confident this isn’t racist whatever she’s doing, but still it’s not wise to be dragging around a baby doll, especially a black baby doll…Have some sense

LSU needs to just keep doing what they’re doing. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot like he is.

Yep. LSU needs to do nothing and say nothing. Do NOT “punch back” out of pettiness.

re: Maui - Hawaii

My personal favorite restaurant in Maui is Star noodle… I like the pork buns and garlic noodles

For road to Hana, I recommend buying/downloading Shaka Guide. It’s inexpensive and awesome, well worth the money, plays in your car, tells you where to go, and is great… highly highly recommend it for Road to Hana

Not sure if whale season, we always go in January, whale boat is cool, can be booked at Whaler’s Village

Always try to make dinner reservations in Maui, restaurants can be pretty crowded
Everyone hates mondays and even if working love fridays

It makes sense that Monday is a better day off because fridays aren’t too bad to begin with, even when working
Jeremy Renner

Random People come up to me all the time and tell me I look like him
“Face value” can be kind of a misleading number. The majority of tickets inside TS also have Trad fund fee paid by original buyer which is separate from face value.
Back to wrapped plastic utensils for me
If this ever comes to fruition, I wonder what kind of affect it would have on the economy…. Assuming people start living to 100-130+

This is really cool. Sign me up for the first shot
In pretty sure a lot of defenses and DC’s struggle with mobile QBs.

Agreed. No business calling college baseball if you’re not a regular voice of college baseball during the regular season

At least Ravich is a good announcer. Perez is not.

If you’re severely allergic to dairy why are you eating at Dairy Queen

Exactly my first thought. To me that’s on the parent(s). You shouldn’t be at Dairy Queen to begin with, but if you are there it’s on you to double and triple check that whatever your child is eating is okay.

I don’t want to make too big of a deal about it

You did.

but I'm told he gets 3-5 years to get back to the postseaso

I certainly expect Jay will get things fixed for next season, but no LSU baseball coach would survive 2 consecutive seasons of not making the NCAA tournament. If by chance he survived 2 consecutive based on goodwill from the national titles, he Certainly wouldn’t survive 3 consecutive seasons of not making the tournament.

Now if you’re saying 3-5 year leash to get back to a deep run in Omaha, that’s possible depending on how the seasons play out
Very fascinating and thought-provoking stuff for sure, and it touches on so many things…. Philosophy, religion, technology, military, etc etc etc

For those that haven’t seen it, Age of Disclosure is one of the better UFO/Alien documentaries … it includes all the hearings in congress from the last couple of years on the subject

quote:

Why can’t people of strong faith admit to having doubt, or admit to even the possibility that their faith could be wrong, or that their religion may not account for every contingency in the universe? I’m a Christian but i am open to having my beliefs challenged. But you had better bring it hard.

Agree with you here, but from an opposite starting-point.

I’m agnostic, bordering on atheist. But I’m definitely open to the possibility of God or Gods. It would be really ironic/interesting if Aliens, UFOs and all that unfolds as this disclosure plays out makes me more of a believer in Gods/demons/etc.
I’ve watched a couple religious podcasts about this story, and I think I’ve got the main stuff down, please correct me if I’m wrong on anything here:

-Religious leaders told to prepare for government disclosure on UFOs/aliens
-the government has been led to believe that there is life on other planets and it has been here to Earth
-religious people believe these are demons, not aliens
-according to these religious people, the demons are trying to deceive people of the world to believe that they are aliens
-according to these religious people, demons are doing this to draw people away from Christianity and religion

quote:

A question for you...if there is no God, where did matter and space come from...when did it first exist? Did it spawn out of nothing? What is nothing? How? Any "fact based, scientific, mathy" ideas of plausibly explaining this?

I wish I knew the answer. I’ve watched hours and hours and hours of documentaries and TV shows asking the same thing. IMO, if we ever do find the answer (which I’m guessing we probably won’t), my guess is the answer would lie somehow in the elements and science and some sort of chemical reaction or something along those lines that has a scientific formula or explanation. I don’t believe there was a person or persons that created it all. Now that said, I do believe intelligent beings can create things, so I don’t rule out the possibility that intelligent (and mortal) beings had a hand in “creating” us. But they’re long dead IMO and not spiritual or supernatural in any way. I believe there is a future where a handful of earth humans travel to and seed another planet in the future and those people are looked at as “gods” by that planet’s future beings.
quote:

Basically what they're telling pastors and priests is to come up with some new bullshite to explain the alien stuff to their congregations so people don't just up and become non-religious and frick up the world by running amuck.

Yeah, assuming it is indeed true that governments are preparing religious leaders, the goal is pretty clear: be prepared with answers for your people because we don’t want large swaths of people going nuts and panicking and totally abandoning morality/order/hope/etc

Of course the other reason could be that this is all fake and they are laying the groundwork and planting the seeds for the fake alien invasion that many have warned about.
