Remember… this all started over a video game.

The entire insanity of college sports has occurred because the NCAA would not let players get a few bucks from a basketball video game.
That ruling let everyone know that college sports does not have an antitrust exemption.
Every lawsuit now is based on “they can’t do x because x violates the Sherman Act”

Such a tired refrain. UCLA was making money before Ed OBannon, and has made much more since he left. The real problem here is everyone ether not understanding the difference between NIL and just employing players actually is, or purposefully playing ignorant.
I'll say it again, although the Ed Obannon case started it, the 2020/Covid/George Floyd/Deep State revolution that occured was an absolute retard's revolution in all areas of our society. We are dealing with the consequences of idiots getting their way because decent people didn't stand up to the idioctic mob.

Wow, you found a way to blame this on COVID, the deep state, and wokeness. I think you just left Biden out. Yes, if people had stood up to the mob, the Supreme Court would not have issued its ruling and the years of itiagaion would have just gone away.

Screw that guy. Not only took away my favorite video game for 10+ years but also got the ball rolling on ruining college sports. Not to mention he filed his lawsuit 15 years after he was even a relevant person because his career flamed out.
