Making this issue public and a legal threat is where the problem lies. That’s where Daniel’s crossed an uncrossable line.
As for the other part. Daniel’s was great. I liked him a lot. But he can never be on the same level as a guy who won the Heisman and also won a NC.
But even Burrow better not take a public stance against LSU.

Everyone is picking sides here and I don't think it's necessary. Both Pickett and JD are being extremely petty and this is a bad look for both of them. The difference is Pickett is still a kid and this behavior should be expected. JD should know better.

He could have requested 9 andI would have no problem with that since 9 is also available.
The difference is that had he been given 9, it is highly unlikely Burrow would have had lawyers send LSU a C&D letter.

These boys need to just shut up and wear what they’re told and focus on doing their jobs. They shouldn’t get a say in what number they’re assigned or anything else for that matter. They wanna act like school employees so they can get that money then they can be treated like employees who shut the frick up and do what they’re told
