I just got back from the Biltmore yesterday and played both their courses. Honestly, I would not recommend.
The Estates course is pure chaos with the parallel fairways and people hitting across multiple fairways.
The Links course was a nice layout and had a magnificent par 3 no. 15 with a super elevated tee box and a Carry over rocky desert brush & cacti. Very cool.
But honestly for a resort facility, I expected more.
Cart girls & halfway house girls are super hot. That’s all I got.

I'm not sure it's a one course solution.
There definitely needs to be another muni/semi-private track to help with the demand, but from what I understand, all 3 country clubs are jam packed membership wise and tee times are hard to come by on the weekends.
U club should be working on another 18 rather than building new filings of the subdivision.
And BREC needs to realize that 9 hole executive courses are not what the public wants. They really missed a prime opportunity to merge Clark and Dumas courses and have a true 18 out there.

Any engine with a turbo or one that accelerates quickly is going to get you dinged on the acceleration category until your discount reaches zero and there's nothing they can do to fix it.
I have nearly perfect scores everywhere else and they blast me for acceleration and I'm not even speeding.
Meanwhile I drive the exact same way I did in my old truck and it gives me full credit for acceleration and gives me the full discount.
There are inherent problems with it and it's behind the times with current automobile production

There's a small but passionate fanbase here that loves hockey. Other people would love it too if they gave it a chance.
But yes this league was incredibly low rent and disorganized. Its a low cost of entry but that low cost gets you poor officiating, insufficient medical support and arena security, selective enforcement of the rules, and disregard of the league's rulings on roster management. Which makes the whole thing feel like a joke.

Have you seen the arenas that AHL and ECHL teams play in? We have nothing near that nice until LSU's arena gets built and theres no guarantee they'll spend the extra dough to have ice.

Owner didn't want the team. New ownership group stepped up and offered to buy the team. Raising Canes River Center nixed the purchase because they didn't like the new owner.
So as a result, no team, no more hockey, and I hope the whole building burns down with the flames of corruption.
And the same goes for the Zydeco front office management. :bird:
