So does it really matter who is 8 through 10 on LSU’s list of greatest quarterbacks? Because none of them were great.
Mett, Flynn, and Davey were all great quarterbacks. You had Nuss on the list, who I'd put below Jordan Jefferson somewhere around 20th.

Mauck had Michael Clayton, Devery Henderson, Dwayne Bowe, Skyler Green, and Craig Davis at receiver. Those first 3 guys had long NFL careers.
Flynn had ... Demetrius Byrd, Brandon LaFell, Early Doucet, Trindon Holliday, and freshman Terrence Tolliver. Also Les Miles as coach with Gary Crowton as OC. It was a run first offense and Flynn had to pull a rabbit out of his hat for damn near every completion.

I can confidently say that this is the worst hype video I've ever watched.

Flynn was better.
Mett needs to be on list.
1. Joe Burrow
2. Jayden Daniels
3. Bert Jones
4. Y.A. Tittle
6. Jamarcus Russell
7. Tommy Hodson
8. Zach Mettenberger
9. Matt Flynn
10. Rohan Davey
Everyone is picking sides here and I don't think it's necessary. Both Pickett and JD are being extremely petty and this is a bad look for both of them. The difference is Pickett is still a kid and this behavior should be expected. JD should know better.

I never would have thought that Brian Kelly would end up being the worst coach in LSU's football history.
Why not? It was a stupid hire from day 1. Anyone not wearing purple and gold glasses saw it coming. He gave us hope for a split second with the OT Alabama victory, which would have bought any other coach enough grace to not be fired 3 years later. He was an unlikable a-hole at Notre Dame too.
I saw Chad Jones at the Tiki Bar in Panama City on spring break in 2010. I won't go into details of what happened, but I agree that Chad Jones is definitely a motherfricker in the best ways.

Jamar is 12 and Jets is 3.
which is just stupid. Jamar is ranked 4 highest wr. he's clearly the best receiver in the NFL.
It takes into account where they were drafted and value related to performance. Makes sense to me.
Edit: Also team needs.
I lived in Idaho Falls for a year.
Snakebite is good for what it is.
That’s about it.

Check out 2:04. That run is full on JD.
You people have lost your minds. That looks nothing like JD. Honestly looks pretty ordinary in that video.

You’ve become less likable than Lester!

Did you just steal Dandy’s idea and try to make it your own here?
Georgia is having one of the biggest melts in the history of this board today, and it started before the game even started. Wild.

Jesus Christ GA fans are insufferable today. Is this the first year you’ve watched college baseball?
quote:
Idk why LSU fans in particular are taking this so personally. It's a common sense issue, not a UGA specific issue. There is a massive competitive imbalance between the two sides and you'd have to be a complete retard to argue otherwise.
We're not arguing whether or not UNC had an easier path. You just come off as very whiny. Hopefully your team doesn't have the same mentality (i'm sure they don't).
quote:
Yes typical bad humor from me. LSU fans like to start a lot of schedule threads about how hard their scheule is or how easy everyone else has it.
Just a bit of off season humor.
We do have some idiotic fans
quote:
Everyone write this down!!!! We have an LSU fan minimizing the effect of who a team has to play to win a championship. Let us all bookmark this momentus occasion and refer to it in every schedule thread made by bayou bengal fans forevermore!
Thank you kind sir! You have given the rant a great gift today.
Is this some kind of SECR inside joke? Honestly not following what you're getting at. I'll just assume it's a troll attempt.
What I do know is Georgia fans are acting scared in this thread.
What I also know is LSU seems to perform in Omaha / National Championships / high pressure situations more often than not.
quote:
It's such shite that the right side of hte bracket was a heallacious murder-gauntlet while UNC gets a spring walk in the park on their side. They're going to come into the championship series rested and refreshed.
Sounds like you're just prepping an excuse for losing the ship.
This happens all the time. Most notably 2023 with LSU/Wake/Tenn/Stanford on 1 side and Florida/Oral Roberts/TCU/Virginia on the other. Great teams don't make excuses.
If Oklahoma beats you tonight, maybe they had the easier path?

The Swamp hasn't been intimidating in almost 20 years. Ole Miss at home should scare you more this year. Sumrall is gonna need a few years to breathe some life back into that fanbase.
re: If the Saints draft so well, what’s the reason for many piss-poor rosters over the years?

'23 and '24 weren't great either.
I was only 3 years old for '91, otherwise I'm sure I'd probably have it on my list.
1) '23 was probably my favorite championship run for any of the teams I follow in any sport. Those Wake Forest games were incredible. Skenes vs. Lowder  '07 LSU football and '09 saints are right there though. If only the '11 football team had sealed the deal...
2) '96 - I was only 8 and I remember Morris' walkoff.
3) '09 - Because Chad Jones and Jared Mitchell being 2 sport athletes made this team so fun to watch, and I was there.
