Maybe this will even out with Tenn having to play in 90 degree weather and 90 percent humidity since they're not used to it.

This is the type of game where conditioning can play a major factor.

Thanks SEC for the support. All for money, nothing about traditions.

Tiger stadium may be 1/3 full for this one. No way our fan base gets off their arse for this one.

I’ll be scouting the ticket exchange next week when people start bailing. Regardless of the kickoff time.

That is actually what I meant. I don't think it's a top 5 league game that day.

Gawwthamm!
We need to go in there and beat that War fricking Pigeon arse like it's a freaking Angola soap drop.
Whup that arse by 4 TDs/30 pts or more and make them fire Harsin right after the game.
CBS passes up an undefeated Top 10 vs a 4-1 possible juggernaut for a game only watched by the little slice of Americana that lives between Athens and Mobile.

There's a reason most Tiger fans hate daytime games! Some teams thrive off of them but we don't.

Ridiculous that A&M gets a primetime game after the App St. loss

Agreed, but that game being in primetime is all about getting Bryce Young on in PT and let him run about 300+ yards passing and a handful of TDs.

I hate to say it, but CBS made the right call.

You have Georgia and Alabama, the two teams that played in the national title game, and are ranked 1 and 2. Both are playing conference grudge matches.

For Auburn-Georgia, there's both the "Georgia is defending champ and even better than it was last year", and "you can throw the records out when these teams play" narratives, and they will use whichever fits the course of the game.
If UGA wins super-big, that feeds the first narrative, and they might even say UGA is insulted it didn't get the 7pm slot.

We're pissed to be playing at 11am, rightfully so. But we're not a playoff contender, and if Tennessee is, they get the UGA-Tenn and Bama-Tenn games to highlight that.

I don’t normally say things like this but this is bullshite.

CBS picks Georgia and Auburn? That game will be over before halftime.

Well if, and it’s a big if, but if we keep winning you can rest assured that LSU vs Ole Piss is the CBS 2:30 game and so Bama would be the next night game in TS

The best way for LSU fans to handle this is showing up 100k strong in Tiger Stadium and rock the house all day long. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

ESPN'd

This is CBS dragging nuts out the door and showcasing the #1 and #2 teams in back to back games (in what will all likelihood be blowouts) ...and nothing more

There's very little ESPN could do here bc they sure as hell weren't going to give up the viewership #s just for a night game in DV on the SEC Network

They put them in the only showcase slot they had available to them

LSU gets screwed again.

Tennessee fans get screwed too. I'm fricking devasted by this news. We only get to go to LSU once every 10/12 years.

Myself, family and friends have been planning our trip to Baton Rouge for over a year now. Most of us are losing our Tiger Stadium virginity in two weeks. Trust me, we all wanted a night game so we could fully immerse ourselves in the LSU football cultural experience. 2:30 kick would have been fine too I guess. But a noon kick? Jesus Christ. What a fricking bummer we don't get to walk around and eat cajun food and drink booze all day.

I don't know who is going to win between our game, but I do know it will at least be an interesting game no matter what happens. Auburn/UGA is going to be one of the most boring games of the year. fricking unreal.

I wonder if they tried to get ESPN to put it on the SEC network night game and they refused? I’m just curious if Woodward even asked for that.
