What’s it matter if you lose at noon, 3:30pm or 7:30pm?

Someone in the SEC offices must have made a call. Maybe one of the best matchups for the weekend and its on at 12 noon. WTF is this the Big ten now?

I haven't kept up with all the future network changes when CBS leaves but if the above is any indication ESPN values baseball over football. How will this work when we have ESPN only? Fewer slots for football during baseball?

A&M has a history of beating Bama, even when they have mediocre teams. That makes the matchup attractive.

Blame the AD. LSU can schedule every home game at night and tell the sec and tv to go to hell

Usually come in with 8-10 people for the tailgating and several of us go to the game.

The Tennessee game was the chosen game this year.

We just all cancelled. Any other time slot we were all coming in. 2:30, 5, 6, 7 it didn't matter. I had a feeling this was going to happen. We lost out to Auburn / UGA because they are the #1 team in the country.

I hope that game is a massive blowout and we come down to the wire.

ESPN will have baseball playoffs on that Saturday night. Cannot go head to head with CBS football game.

CBS has the TV contract. They make the schedule. Athletic departments have little say. Word is LSU and SEC lobbied for PM game but CBS didn't listen. Once they picked UGA-AUB and A&M-BAMA, ESPN could either put LSU on the SECN at night or ESPN in the morning. It'll be one of their highest rated 11 am games all year.

This is on CBS. That contract can't end soon enough.
