Does Herby usually call that game or does he leave after Gameday?
Herbstreit and Fowler called last year, which was also where Gameday was. me thinks Herbstreit will be wherever Gameday goes that week, either UT-OU or the 7:30 ABC kickoff. don't think we're getting gameday unfortunately

It appears CBS wanted to make sure their 2:30 game and 7:00 pm game were as close to "stand alone games" as possible. Thus, the reason you see all of the decent ESPN games at 11:00 instead of at night.
A&M v. Alabama was ALWAYS going to the be 7:00 game...regardless of A&M's performance thus far. That game was the sole reason CBS selected next weekend as a "double-header" weekend. You can make a very strong argument that LSU v. Tennessee looks like it will be a much better game than Auburn v. Georgia. However, the hard reality LSU fans must face right now is defending national champion Georgia has more NATIONAL cache than a "rebuilding" LSU program vs a program (Tennessee) that has largely been out of the national spotlight for 10 years.
Still, it continues to suck that the "traditions" of other SEC schools seem to need to be protected at all costs while LSU's night game tradition is only worth protecting if the TV networks find it to be convenient

That 6" missed FG by Arky is why this is happening. A&M should never have won that game, and should be an after thought in the SEC. GA over Auburn will be a blowout at 2:30 which should be the worst time the LSU/Tenn game should be played.

But at least have tickets on the Tenn sideline, where I bake my orange and white nuts off.

Man I hope the State doesn't decide to kick in the 18 min time limit to cross da basin that weekend....all those who sleep a lil late will be hauling arse to get to BR from Lafayette..Acadiana area...state could be looking at a big pay day for sure.

What a terrible slot for that game, especially after we beat Auburn this weekend.
Tenn getting screwed again as well.

All right everyone is pissed. I don’t like it no one likes it but it is what it is. Ain’t no changing it now.’now the challenge is to turn this into the loudest most rowdy 11am kickoff in LSU history.
This 100%!
Let's turn out Tigers!!
First let's beat up Auburn to make sure CBS's showcase game is even more meh.

Tiger stadium may be 1/3 full for this one. No way our fan base gets off their arse for this one.
I’m as pissed off as anyone else but this is just stupid. The stadium may not have been full but the atmosphere for the Florida game last year was actually damn good. And we sucked.

This is just a stupid comment. We had a hell of a crowd last year for the Florida game that no one expected us to win. This will be the same. No one expects us to win, and our defense shows up.
