He couldn’t figure out that elaborate full court man to man Mizzu went to. Our coach is garbage

The opposition created twice as many turnovers and got in the paint constantly while lsu didnt…pretty easy explanation really

Keeping Cam Hates in when he proved he couldn’t handle the press is criminal.

I never think Juice Hill should play more, but if he does today we win.

We all saw it coming S, just being hopeful. It's where we are now.

figured we would lose this game.

that is why i did a moneyline parlay with UCONN and MIZZOU.

was looking like i would lose my bet until LSU choked.

I only watched pieces of the second half but what i watched, Hayes was the worst player out there. Ugh. Hopefully the next 4th string ACC transfer we landis better

Hayes actually seems like a decent player. I feel like the coaching staff has no plan for certain situations. It’s unbelievable.

Not tonight though. He had 5 points and 4 turnovers in 32 minutes shooting 14% on fgs and 25% on 3s.

It's hard to lose a game when you shoot 50% from 3 hitting 14 3-pointers and shooting 90% from the free throw line hitting 18-20, but we found a way to lose.

This team lacks a quality PG. Hill and Hayes wouldn't see minutes on any decent team at PG.
Hayes was just bad tonight in every aspect. Fountain didn't play well either. There is a reason they were 7-8 type players at their previous schools.

KJ and Miller kept them in the game.

Honestly not waking up to mean negative tweets is better than winning

I turned it off midway first half.
My wife wanted to watch a movie and it wasn't worth going into the Den and turning on another TV.
I don't watch LSU Sports reruns unless I know we win.
This was just a rerun of almost every other LSU basketball game, this season.
I can remember a time. A time when we all got excited about the end of the season, looking forward to the tourney. Ahhh! Those were the days. Where did they go.
Woody stole them.

This team really had to try to lose this game. I actually projected LSU as the winner in the first half, and at one juncture in the first half, ESPN had LSU as 99.9% likely to win!

Wha happened--it's uncanny.

Absolutely, MM let a win slip through his hands because he wouldn't pull Hayes. Hayes played horribly in the last 5-6 minutes. Terrible passes for turnovers, half assed effort to receive a pass from Miller that was a little off the mark, shitty defense and an air ball on a highly contested 3 that he should have given up to KJ to take.

Sounds like I made the right choice going to bed at halftime.

I agree 100% and said the exact same thing to my buddy at the time. 9/10 nights Hill has probably not been the best option at PG this year. But last night he would have been given how the game was going. LSU didn't need him to score. They just needed someone other than Miller and Hayes to handle the ball as Missouri picked up the defensive pressure. On a rare night LSU was making shots, you didn't need Hill to generate his own offense. You just needed him to facilitate.

Despite everything that had happened to that point, it was still a tie game with under 2:00 to go. LSU then proceeded to run some flat out awful offensive sets late that resulted in bad shots.

It's not easy. But as a coach you HAVE to understand the flow of the game and which personnel might be best for that moment...even if that guy hasn't been great all year.

I posted in the game thread that Hill was looking "good" and I got a ton of downvotes and negative comments. Sometimes it feels like some people aren't watching the same game.

Yea he looked great, 0pts, 0 Rebs, 1 assist. Outstanding
