Live in Waco, hearing lots of noise about Bech to Baylor. Would be a major addition to their receiver room and excel in the B12

As long as it's not in the SEC I'll cheer for him.

If true, Sic 'em Bech.

ot sure what Bech is expecting but he contributed solidly in the SEC Championship game.

Not trying to be rude or a jerk but was he the one who dropped the catch that was intercepted in the red zone?

Trey Quinn = Mr. Irrelevant!= Made the roster and had a couple decent years in the pros.

Both are NFL talents. They were just not good enough to be starters at LSU.

No receiver had a good year this year. We didn’t throw the ball downfield

Nabers and Jaray had very good years. The statistics were not impressive, but the eye-test results were outstanding.

The QB couldn’t pass beyond 10 yards. He averaged 7.8 or so yards

Nobody would’ve caught that ball. The DB hit Bech slightly ahead of the ball arriving, and the ball was high where the defender could hit Bech’s hands simultaneously. Bech may have the best hands on the team. If that ball was placed better, he would’ve still caught it.

Why do people have to make posts like these. I have no desire to dump on Trey Quinn or to even appear that I'm doing so. But unless you qualify being on a roster as a "decent" year, then no, he did not have "a couple decent years in the pros." He played 16 games in 2 seasons, caught 35 passes for 273 yards, and scored 2 touchdowns.

He got drafted and made a roster, good on him. That's better than thousands of college football players. Doesn't need to be any more inflated than that.

Meh. I don't have an opinion on Quinn one way or the other, but you're really just quibbling over the meaning of the word "decent." Some people might consider that decent, some might not.

So far, we have been very lucky. No one headed for the portal could be called a difference maker. There are several guys who looked good as recruits but never made it to the field but that's about it.
Whew!
