To be fair, he's not saying Ole Miss or the people in Oxford are racist. It's just a perception that older black people have because of the history, etc. Shouldn't be controversial, but of course people will have a come apart.

I wonder why so many people automatically believed that Clark said all of that. Although he said he had never said any of that, it fits his obvious personality of the kind of person he is tbw and that's why everyone jumped to believe it. Clark got to look at himself in the mirror. Checkmate.

There is a considerably higher proportion of African-American residents in Mississippi than Louisiana; however, there is even more of a disproportion of whites to blacks attending Ole Miss, as opposed to a more balanced population at LSU. Just going by the numbers, Ole Miss = racist.

You'll get shot up by a thug with a Glock switch while waiting in line in the food court, but at least there will be fewer Confederate flags around town.
I love LSU and have lived in BR my entire life, but if a recruit is being influenced by their grandparents to rule out Oxford because there are remnants of the old south around town, it is extremely low IQ. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to pick LSU over Ole Miss.

His statement is something that has been known for a while and has been less of an issue recently for Ole Miss but they cant dismiss that it still comes up.
It's wild how Kiffin saying something that most people have always known about Ole Miss has people on here using it as an opportunity to shite on Baton Rouge.

It may be a perception, but to think there are fewer racist grandparents in Baton Rouge than Oxford, Fayetteville, Athens, Knoxville, Tuscaloosa, or anywhere in the south is pretty wild.
