Would hate to know what exactly went down behind closed doors this past late November, it really seems like Ole Piss and Kiffin are trying to destroy each other PR wise

Yeah, I don't see this as pandering. More like a statement of fact. What Ole Miss fans and media don't seem to grasp is that liking African American players because they play sports at Ole Miss doesn't mean what Lane said isn't true to some extent

My BIL married into a family of HUGE Ole Miss fans and alums. They take their RV to every football game and most of the basketball and baseball games. They live on the Gulf Coast so we’re talking a 6+ hour drive just for home games.
They’ve invited us to several games, but I’ve told them I’ll only go when LSU is there. My wife absolutely refuses to go this year because she knows I’m going to talk a lot of shite and she thinks it going to get out of control with Kiffin going back.
She’s definitely making the right call.

The point is the thread title and wording is too try and make kiffin appear "woke" and his point in the article was completely logical and not that he had an issue with Ole Miss\Oxford but recruits did.

Agreed and whats even wilder, like someone rebuttled on X , he never said any of that in the article himself, he said others "told" him this. He just repeated what they said. Now they are in defcon1 blaming Kiffin Yada Yada. How dare you Kiffin blah blah. They didnt seem to have issue when the literally dragged his daughter in the mud with things that would make a father want to hurt somebody or worse and put him on blast for several other things attacking his character. But they were cool with him when he was there. fricking hypocrite hillbillies. I tried telling people, he left a good situation he built for a good reason. We all clearly see why he left seeing over the last 7 months the back lash. Dude was pissed off and God found a way for him to leave for a better situation where he will be appreciated. Ole Piss can get fricked. Win or lose in September they cant still get fricked.
