I honestly cannot think of much that has happened that I would say is more soft than this. surely LSU doesn't have to get "legal permission" from every single person whose image can be seen in those photos and clips before they use them.

This would carry more weight from Daniels if he was the only real player of note in recent memory. Like Dak Prescott doing this to Miss St might affect them a little more.
LSU has plenty of All Americans and star NFL players that make up their history, players that actually won conference and national titles here. Daniels wants to erase himself from LSU history all because of a number? OK. Put "QB #5" on any mention of him in the facilities like the old NCAA video games used to do and remove any highlights and photos of him. Wish granted. Life at LSU will go on with or without your memory.

Guys like JD let the success get to their head, and forget that it is a two way street. As much as he helped the LSU brand, LSU helped resurrect his somewhat average career coming from Arizona St.
