Jayden doesn’t own the #5 on an LSU jersey. Appalling. BTW, Pickett has worn #5 pretty much his whole life playing football.

At LSU, retiring a jersey does not mean the number is permanently taken out of circulation. The LSU Athletics policy separates the concept of a "retired jersey" (which honors the individual player) from a "retired number" (which locks the number from ever being worn again).

JD[redacted] will never win a Super Bowl. He will be out of the league in less than 5 years. The NFL will forget about him.

Their plan backfired. They expected to be universally celebrated. His response he released only makes him look worse. Buy your momma a house remove her from the business and publicly apologize to LSU for being immature and not understanding another player having your number doesn't disrespect you or prevent you from getting your day in the sun.
