Jayden doesn’t own the #5 on an LSU jersey. Appalling. BTW, Pickett has worn #5 pretty much his whole life playing football.

At LSU, retiring a jersey does not mean the number is permanently taken out of circulation. The LSU Athletics policy separates the concept of a "retired jersey" (which honors the individual player) from a "retired number" (which locks the number from ever being worn again).

JD[redacted] will never win a Super Bowl. He will be out of the league in less than 5 years. The NFL will forget about him.
He COULD have had a lifetime legacy and celebrity status in Louisiana and among Tiger fans for as long as he lived like Shaq. But he’s screwed that up permanently.
