I like Huge Freeze and wouldn't be mad about the hire. But it would surprise the hell out of me if Woodward hired Freeze. Freeze does not seem like a Woodward type hire.
I can see Woodward hiring James Franklin or Dave Aranda.
Franklin is probably Woodward's first choice but he is also a harder pull.

For all these holier than thou people that don’t want a coach who made a mistake somewhere along the way . I just wonder how they would feel if people felt the same way about them and judged them like they do with these coaches. I guess one mistake and no forgiveness, no second chance. One and done forever.

There are still alot of morons here who have no idea about what title 9 is or what the issues entail. It has no bearing whatsoever for the hire. The board understands one thing...money. u have to have money to function. Football is the golden goose for most everything including academics. U hire a winner and money comes in from donations increased enrollment and memorabilia sales. See alabama. If I'm so my first calls are to Saban just make. Him say no Dabo same as above then I call urban and freeze. Winning solves everything. Freeze with our recruiting bed and facilities would make the rest of the sec collectively chit itself

I think you make a good case for strong consideration. As for his sexual peccadilloes, - I believe in second chances, especially with sexual indiscretions, which are so commonplace.It’s a weakness not a felony. And many times, that’s what causes people to achieve - previous personal failures and humiliations with those they love and have wronged . Not to mention that the man can coach.
