I have no faith that Brian Kelly is on that level. That baseball team was the most clutch team I’ve ever seen.

Kellys team can’t even run the ball.

Johnson is light years ahead of Kelly and honestly at a place where Kelly will never get to. Johnson is motivated and it shows. Kelly looks lost everytime the camera pans to him. I have no faith in winning a national championship with Kelly.

In fairness he had 2 of the best players to ever come through the program on that team along side a bunch of really good 3 and 4 year players.

Brian Kelly doesn't have that on this years team. He did last year offensively. Unfortunately House had the defense in shambles and it cost us a potential championship.

Whether Kelly can win one remains to be seen. When he was hired I was confident he would now I'm not so sure about that. It kind of feels like we will never have any disastrous seasons and always win at least 8 or 9 games but never be elite either.

But the Rant told me after the Mississippi State series that the bullpen was trash, we had no #2 starter, the hitters weren’t clutch, and Jay was in over his head!

Yep. Not an elite coach and good for a couple losses a year where the team looks as lost on the field as he does on the sidelines.

Kelly inherited a dumpster fire Jay Johnson inherited a franchise. Big difference from where thet started it would be a fair comparison if Kelly started with 2018 roster not 39 players that decided to not leave

Pretty ignorant comparison considering what both started off with

Also, nice to know we have another body language expert on the board

1 of those he went get.

Same with Orgeron, he busted his arse to get that 2019 team together, players and coaching. Unlike Johnson, he didn't stay hungry enough and one championship was his peak.

Spot on…except I can tell you, Kelly isn’t winning a championship.

Yet, there were members of the rant wanting him gone after last year.

I think he may get it together but I didn't like the hire either. Give me a young and upcoming coach that is hungry. I havent a clue why he can't establish a good running game when at Notre Dame it usually wasn't a problem

Every fan, who resorts to how a coach, or player, looks on the sideline, is a knucklehead.

Dude, you were one of the idiots bitching about JJ constantly before he won that national championship.

Baseballs far easier to win that football

Nobody gives a shite about baseball outside like 10 schools, and nobody spent money on players like LSU did when Jay arrived

But won the West in his first year with dumpster fire players and Orgeron recruits. We're in year 3, the majority of the team are Kelly's players. And he was just embarrassed on national TV, again.

It's time for that tired arse excuse to go extinct. JJ didn't complain about the team he took over, and worked his arse off for year 2 to be special.

Do we need to talk about what Mulkey has done with WBB?

BK is being compensated like a top tier coach, it's time he produced like one.
