They will sweep. Their best pitcher is going tomorrow.

Someone in the post game online was saying they have a mega donor that decided to start donating 10 million a year for their baseball team

Looks like they will be one of the big boys we have to fight from now on

I'm quite surprised by Okie. According to the "experts," they weren't supposed to do much in Omaha. If there is such a thing as "momentum," they definitely have it.

I happened to be at the OU - GA Tech game three and that 10th inning walk-off HR is still in the air, probably orbiting the planet now. That whole team is just feeling it right now.

Don’t be naive, UNC is very good. Yes OU may win it all, they are hot. but I would not count UNC out.

You mean like using all fifteen pitchers who traveled in Atlanta to win that regional. That is coaching Skip, well-done.

Can you imagine lsu last year needing to lean on the back half of our staff in big spots for game or two on the road facing elimination? I’d rather not. Now is good time to leave this nightmare and look ahead to LSU’s 2027

The level of baseball needed to be in / win championship has dipped pretty significantly in the last few years

Its gone up, not down. LSU’s last two championship teams were absolutely loaded compared to earlier championship teams. And that 2023 team - with Dylan Crews, Tommy Tanks, Ty Floyd, Chase Shores, Grant Taylor, Paul Skenes and Tre Morgan - needed two defensive gems to avoid getting eliminated.
