Off-day non-LSU question: seeing big Yorke and his fast start made me think of Stanford’s Japanese star first baseman who goes 6’1 270 Rintaro Sasaki

LINK

Sasaki hit 140 home runs in his high school career in Japan, so why only seven at Stanford last year? I’m not trying to poke holes, just a really big difference. His home field at Stanford goes 335 ft, 400 ft, 335 ft.

And Project, did you see he was drafted by the NPB while at Stanford? from what I understand this is rare because there are rules requiring Japanese professional teams to draft kids who attend schools within Japan.

This right here. The combination of the aw-hello-no emotions and the optics was a combustible mixture

This handful - those we seek to retain - will play. They must if they are going to stay happy and here
I know it’s hard for a bunch of reasons, but would love to see us land some Pacific Islanders like usc has always done.
How about worldwide? How much do Premier League soccer coaches make?

The Gainesville Sun's sports headline was. "HUMILIATED" with a picture of Ron Zook walking off the field with his head down

and the font size for the headline “HUMILIATED” was something reserved for wartime attacks on our mainland

The all-gray with interlocking LSU is my favorite
I think this is a very interesting thread. In an interview he once said “do you have any idea how hard it is to keep them down?” referring to the SEC powers but I believe most referring to LSU. He did everything in his power to knock us down a peg, and that was especially true on the recruiting trail. a player that LSU wanted who signed with Alabama was a way for him to gain an edge. There’s much to discuss here, but in a word, yes I’m surprised he’s advocating for the one he aimed to hurt
I’ll always appreciate the way he made Alabama look so pedestrian that night as we fought as a four touchdown underdog
Where did jones end up?

And yes when with us, his game plan against Alabama as a 27 point underdog was a thing of beauty.

The LA Rams won’t be in the Super Bowl in part because their punt returner didn’t field a punt cleanly

Gooden was not a good but a great find. Under appreciated and stayed healthy. I would love to hit on a couple DL who contribute in similar ways

Their crowd would go nuts when the punt block team lined down, was unlike anything I’ve heard at other stadiums

He was such a great find. Played so hard. Gave us fits
Does Miami have to fork over 100% of this money in a lump sum equal to ten million dollars, or can they pay over time?

Can you imagine if he gets injured?
