Olinemen need to be able to grab the defensive guys inside the shoulder pads or else they'll be worthless

I hope he recovers quickly but hasn't Delly been rated pretty poorly?

I thought Marlon Martinez looked pretty good when he played last year. The depth on the oline is probably the best it has been in a while.

LSU could look to replace Dellinger with Anthony Bradford, who started two games this year, or Tre’Mond Shorts, who has not started a game yet this season.

This is a big loss as Dellinger really has played well at guard. He isn’t the backup center anyway even if he was healthy. It’s now Marlon Martinez and then Fitzgerald West who they really love and might be the starting center next year.

Stopped listening to that show. I found myself buying into the hysterical overreactions too much.

Marlon Martinez played C when the backups went in vs NM...

I'd love for Bradford to show he can step up. He's a massive human being and should be able to open some running lanes.

Bigger question is who is the back up center ? Turner twisted his ankle twice in the New Mexico game. Who comes in if he goes down.

I personally feel better about Bradford than Shorts currently
I don't feel good about either one of them.

It's about like only having some Elmer's glue (Bradford) or Bubblegum (Shorts) to hold back a break that requires quick J-B Weld or 5-Minute Epoxy. (Dellinger)

Certainly not an ideal situation going into a venue that LSU traditionally has trouble playing functional football in. (Even though Auburn isn't that good currently)

Hopefully they can survive A.U. Finley without the J-B Weldellinger........
