I would think Orlando would want to trade Goga Bitadze or Wendell Carter Jr but they seem to be holding onto them. JV is on an expiring $10 million deal and we could probably get him for a couple future 2nd round picks and hopefully send Hawkins back to get off his contract. He’s not perfect but he’s a rebounding machine with an actual offensive threat to go with it. We need a big body like him in the west to spell Missi and give a solid 20 minutes a night off the bench.

Andre Drummond seems like the best free agent option left. At least he can still grab offensive rebounds but thats about it.

I honestly think Missi is going to have a breakout year so someone like Bagley that can rebound off the bench at a discount price with Missi as the starter. If they don’t see Missi as the starter then we should go get Sabonis to be the star center in which we could probably get off Poole and Hawkins’ contracts in a deal with Sacramento. I’d love to see Sabonis AND Missi on the floor together. One guy rebounds and can space the floor with the pther guy being the athletic freak that can move and block shots. Centers are making a big comeback in the NBA.

I’d give them 2 first for Sabonis if they are set on trying to win with Zion. He’d solve both the rebounding issue and give some spacing offensively so the paint isn’t clogged. They would have to take back Poole and Hawkins’ expiring contracts to make it work but ONLY if they are set on winning now.
