re: Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch Volume III

Fairly new to bourbon/whiskey; brother in law made me an old fashioned during the holidays and was pissed I've went this long without it.

Got some OF 1910 which is so good and making old fashions with WT 101, Knob Creek Rye, and Elijah Craig small batch.

Tried pre made Penelope Black Walnut Old Fashioned off youtube recommendations and it was so good.

I'm 5-9 (thanks mom) and wife is 5-8 and both our dads were 6-1 and extended family the men were all around 6 ft.

Our two boys didn't have any crazy growth spurts , oldest is 6-1 and youngest is 6-2. Both had their main growth between 10-11th grades.

Exactly. Lot of horses in this range are not the soundest and little time off or new treatment and boom they throw a great race. Of course always the ones holding back to get good odds to try and steal one.
Reaves in big spots not getting it done.
Arambidie with the Jordan Jefferson toss.

That's very good

Against a lefty I'd DH with one of Serna/Simpson/Pearson
Very interesting how the lineup will shake out against left handed pitchers.
If Dardar continues as is he’s not coming out of the lineup. That leaves just DH and maybe a rotation in left field.

Particularly a Catholic/Protestant marriage

Wife and I did this; married 27 years now.

She was Catholic and I wasn't. We had good discussions before marriage and then afterwards we went to both for little while, studied each other's beliefs etc.

We've been going to a protestant church together for 25 years.

He comes off as a pompous arse but he knows people. I would think he would get this right

Have we run the ball this half?

Coaching is embarrassingly bad. Can’t make it up

Yes, this year. MVB can only play in 2 more games before we waste his redshirt.

Two more if counting a bowl game. He's played in 3 regular season games so far.

re: Who’s your melt hire?

Posted by CAT on 10/27/25 at 5:06 pm to
Drink or Franklin

Lea would be boring to me but probably a good hire

Dabo would be a Woody hire if he's allowed to make it, semi melt here

Shepherd would be a mini melt; probably followed by some kool aid drinking and a Nicholas Cage "lets ride".

Would we wait on him after the playoffs? Let's say he wins the first round, are we waiting till January 2nd to hire him? By God, let's say he gets lucky and wins that one, would he even come at that point?

I just don't know if we can play the waiting game with him if all we have is his word.

This right here. I don't see LSU waiting that long with a handshake deal.
Now move Thompson to RT and put Mubenga and Echols at the guards

re: How bad is our OL going to be next year?

Posted by CAT on 10/21/25 at 11:31 am to
Will be improved because we'll have a new OL coach and probably a new OC and scheme.

We'll look back and ask WTH was going on, these guys can actually play.
