Baseball America Top 25
Just keep winning SEC series Tigers, next let's take down Auburn!
One thing you never discount is a sweep on the road in SEC baseball!

1. Arkansas
2. Texas
3. LSU
4. Tennessee
5. Clemson
6. Georgia
7. Florida St.

They may not drop Tennessee this far.

They need to work on their hitting. Leadoff guy had 3 homers but an 0.093 average. Numerous others below 0.150

Their leadoff hitter was Jake Lambdin, the announcer described him as their best hitter and D1 shows that he is batting .339. But he also did say that there were only two hitting for good average and that several were below .100.

Yep, tonight is another example showing the flaws in the early season RPI data.

how the heck is Tennessee that high up, they have a weaker schedule than us so far
Looking at the Warren Nolan data at the link above, Tennessee has a current SOS of 94 and LSU's SOS is at 266. And our loss to #86 RPI Omaha did not help. But we will have plenty of opportunities to improve our RPI very soon.
Warren Nolan RPI Live 2025

Kind of crazy that our RPI is at 80 but that's because of the early season soft schedule, that will change quickly once SEC play kicks in full gear. Let's start our RPI movement upward tonight Tigers with another win!!

is that 10 walks?

yes #9 and #10 with a 4-run lead in the 9th

Didn't Jish have 4 rbi yesterday against Nebraska

LSU Nebraska Baseball Game Stats
He had 4 hits but only one RBI.
Josh Pearson

DBU 0-2
K St 1-2, 1 RBI
Neb 4-5, 1 RBI
SH 1-2

6-11, 2 RBIs
I think with no outs and bases loaded, they are swinging for the fences rather than thinking about putting the ball in play.
Representatives from each school are working to re-schedule the game at a later date, and the new date and time are expected to be announced later this (Wednesday) afternoon.

Don't forget George Atiyeh and Arthur Cantrelle, two Tigers with big time fight in them.

It's much easier to just read the board and see what's going on with the Tigers and its fans rather than commenting on every thought someone has. So, congrats this is my first post in a while too, ha.
Northwestern transfer OT Josh Thompson.
Just eliminate the conference championship games and go to a 16-team playoff. Include the 16 top ranked teams based on a pre-determined poll/computer formula and do away with the committee. 8 teams would get to host a first-round home playoff game, this would just add to the excitement. And the 17th ranked team would really not have much of a national championship argument. But, of course, they will argue.
