I wish we could have had him for 3 years, but it’s all about the market. Look how fast some of these coaches can go from the hottest name in sports to just another guy. He had to take this opportunity. I’m definitely sad to see him go, though.

People that are great at things relentlessly grind away and chase greatness. It's what they do and it's a switch that can't be turned off. Being the LSU Co-OC is not the pinnacle of greatness and it's not even close. It's not that difficult at all to understand.

Of course you don’t understand it. Because you just described what, in your mind, is the penultimate coonass’s wet dream. But some people want more and different things than you do. And they are willing to leave what you think is the end all be all to pursue it. If you were as motivated to achieve what Brady apparently wants, you’d understand it. But that’s why you aren’t him.

And maybe by 30 be an OC at the big level, or maybe running a MAC program; in other words as good or better than his dad ever got.
Burrow wanted more, and took his shot. Brady wants more, and is taking his shot.

Cant blame him from jumping at the opportunity. He had the best qb in CB history, 3 1st round wr and the best online in the nation to work with.
Odds are he wont be as productive next year. If he fails in the nfl, he would still be hired quickly as a college oc.
