Cam’s been one of the better QB’s in the NFL his career. I guarantee you every team - even LSU has at least one “bitch” in it to work with. Talent is ultimately what matters.

You're an LSU fan, he isn't.

Admitted, it may be just me and how I was brought up, but making a couple million a year as an LSU coach, a successful program in large part because of my role, people offering me big deer hunts, turkey hunts, and fishing trips at high dollar camps, never buying a dinner at a BR restaurant, I'd stay in that until I died. I'd be happy. and the occasional co-ed to roll around with only makes it better. I just don't get why some people always want so much more than something that would be such a good, fulfilling life.

This is just sad.

And THIS is probably even harder to hear. But it's true.

Spoiler alert for everyone here. 2.5 million per year will buy you a lot of dinners in any city you want plus turkey hunts.

He may not be the starter, but he will be a Panther...so yes, he will have to work with him.

You have a link to this because many NFL insiders disagree with you.

But the nfl blows compared to high-level college.

Corporate, stale, fake, corrupt.

Why is it hard to believe for some that he just wanted to be an NFL coach, and that's all to it?

Sometimes in sales the potential buyer has an objection that you just can't overcome. The NFL has something that we can't offer, the NFL.

Furthermore, you want ambitious assistants, because as you can see they're the most motivated and kick arse. But the downside is that they leave eventually.

All right, I get this point. Maybe I've reached a point professionally and personally where I'd be happy with the life as a successful LSU coach, with a line on the HC spot in the future. All the other baws on here who are overextended on their mortgages and F250 payments clearly value money over substance, but maybe that's why they are where they are in life.

You are arguing against the NFL by saying it is corrupt..... have you even looked at the NCAA recently?

You're the one valuing settling somewhere versus reaching your full potential.

You do realize he would actually make more money right? So if it was all about the money he would stay at LSU.

That's about it.

The NFL is the top of the mountain.

Here's some parallels:

Do you want your products sold in a skymall magazine or featured on Amazon? Amazon.

Do you want to be published in a regional journal or in the New England Journal of Medicine? NEJM

It's nothing against us at LSU. CFB is amateur; NFL is professional. To some that matters. To Brady it matters. And that's all that matters.

The reality is none of that would've been a guarantee for him. The coaching business has a way of taking away your opportunities, frequently through no fault of your own.

We could've dropped to say, the 30th ranked offense under Brady next year, and just like that his star is gone.

All of this happens in the NFL, plus more time off and more money
