A 3.00 ERA is pretty damn good.

Yes, but it's not good compared to his first two seasons. Also, the fact that league-wide average era is down a tick makes it somewhat more concerning.

Pretty sure you just have to be white and that's enough

would be good enough

But...
That's "completely electric"?

Not a whole lot of folks not named Skenes

And his numbers are better than Paul's this year.

Well...
And we were an over slide of 2nd base from likely taking that to a 3rd game

And our most dominant decade was the one before this list started
He wanted to make it to Omaha

Yeah, excited about those 2 and Arrimbide

Bad defense behind Skenes more than teeing off.

Well... he's struggling with command lately. In the big leagues, no matter how good a guy's stuff is, if he can't locate his pitches consistently he's going to get hit hard more often than not. He'll get locked in and bounce back from this rough stretch.

His bat is weak too. He may develop some pop as he matures but he's a contact hitter. There are too many guys in the big leagues and minors that can play defense as well, hit for close to the same average and, most importantly, hit 25+ hrs a year. Power is at a premium in today's game, particularly for outfielders.

I was told about a month ago he was irrevocably a bust and would never get back

Crews isn't a bust per say, but wood was a late 2nd rounder out of hs and is better and younger.
Wgaf about schedules anymore? We have an expanded playoff now

I'm curious, How did you come to this conclusion?
