Personally I like DJ to BR. If not him, Beau Allen out of UK. Learned behind potential 1 Ovr pick. Floor would be a solid backup. Ceiling is potential Burrow 2.0...
Seems like a no-brainer. LSU is always ‘a quarterback away’ from being an elite program. That kind of arm talent would be just what the tigers need to take that next step. ...

Silver Lining

Once LSU catches up with TAMU’s talent, this will be a no-contest. LSU has far better coaching, but TAMU was able to “out-athlete” the tigers all night. Give Kelly a year to recruit some talent and Daniels another year to get comfortable. This won’t be a game to even worry about next year. ...
With 2 losses there are no guarantees. Hypothetically, we could see a 1 Loss Michigan/Ohio State in the 1/3 Spots. TCU wins out and they are 2. 1 loss Georgia at 4. FSU doesn't really matter in terms of us being ranked 5, but could prove to hold us at a 5 ceiling. Ie. there's a chance we beat #1 tea...

re: Joel Klatt is such a loser.

Don't know how he keeps his job. The only thing he's been right about all year is that the Big 12 is the deepest conference. Maybe not the most talented, but definitely a grueling schedule....

Agreed. Respect for their program's tradition. Especially their 3-peat in the early 2000's, but truly can't stand them....

Jimbo to LSU after the season

Jimbo gets fired, duh. Kelly brings him over as an analyst. Maybe even OC if Denbrock takes a head coaching job. Kelly/Fisher combo would be electric on the recruiting trail....
Did {redacted} put you up to this?...

Joe Brady leaving? Maybe for the best

Posted by Pojeaux on 1/14/20 at 8:48 pm
Its probably a good time to move on from the Brady Era at LSU. He was good, but LSU can now try to acquire a "blue-chip" OC to fill his position without the burden of his contract. Now that we are, hopefully, going to be a yearly contender; we should attract some real talent in the coaching departme...
Is the Superdome really the best option for what will likely be the best game of the year? It seems kind of dated and small (~75,000 capacity) for such a big-time event, especially with JerryWorld (100,000 capacity) as competition. Plus, its a little too close to home for my liking. I wouldn't want ...

CEH healthy?

Posted by Pojeaux on 1/4/20 at 1:33 pm
With his injury history in mind, is it necessary to start/overload CEH in the championship? Something to consider when going against an inferior defense, and the fact that Curry is the future....
