He’ll cry racism and the liberal judge will buy it. Then he’ll cry some problem, go to rehab, do some counseling, pronounce himself cured and will be coaching again in 5 years.
Idk if he’ll serve any time but this dude will never coach in major athletics again. He’ll be lucky to get the defensive coordinator job at a small private school after this.

I could see Brad ending up back at Arkansas.
Atkins is going to find an Oline job somewhere. He’s not a bad coach.
Idk wtf Hankton is going to do. I could see him having to drop down a level.

Wish we could get him back in the stadium one of these days. Despite how it ended and the baggage that came to light after he was gone the man gave LSU a lot of great memories. Maybe in 2027 they’ll honor that 2007 team and invite him back.

GM? You don't start with a GM position when you've only been a player. He deserves some sort of role though if he really wants to be part of managing or coaching the team. Give him something small and see how he does, then go from there.

re: Why NOT John Gruden?!? Don’t see his name anywhere.
Posted by CottonWasKing on 11/6/25 at 5:13 pm to TigerFan244
Because he hasn’t coached a team to winning record since 2008.
Most over rated coach on the planet.
Hell I’d take Deion over Gruden.

Theres a reason many coaches who have worked for Kelly before, don't want to work with him again
Meh he’s had some guys come back.
Molnar coached for him at Cincinnati and at Notre Dame.
Denbrock coached for him at grand valley state Notre Dame and LSU
Bob Diaco worked for him multiple times
John Jansik worked for him multiple times.
Brian Polian did as well.

What about Dencrock?
Had already been an OC for Kelly at Notre Dame.

I posted this a couple of weeks ago on the On3 board. May be interesting to some y’all. Idk.
I went back and looked up all the OCs Kelly hired while he was at Notre Dame. They were:
Charley Molnar 50 years old. 8 years of being OC between Illinois State and Kent State
Mike Denbrock 50 Was briefly OC at Grand valley state in the early 90s.
Chuck Martin 45 first time OC.
Mike Sanford 33 spent one year as OC of Boise State before Kelly hired him.
Chip Long 34 spent one year as OC of Memphis.
Tommy Rees 28 first time OC.
If we do go make a move this offseason I would not expect the new hire to be a highly established play caller. Just does not appear to be Kelly’s M.O.
I thought about trying to find his hires at Cincinnati but decided against it since Kelly was still calling plays back then and you can’t really compare the caliber of coaches available to him compared to Notre Dame and LSU.
But we definitely see a trend of Kelly liking to pick young unproven guys and try to train them on the job with some successes and some failures.

BK has never hired a top flight OC in his career. He has always taken on young, typically first time or only a few years of experience calling plays and trained them up in his system. It’s worked some. It’s failed some but to expect him to do it differently now is not realistic. It will either be someone who has worked with him in the past like Tommy Rees. Someone already on staff or someone we’ve never heard of.
If it is a big name hire then you can bet that Woodward got involved and forced his hand and that has a lovely track record of working out.

Because T-Bob pumped it on social media over the last two weeks Come the frick on with this bullshite. Not one media person or outlet in BR reported this at the time. Not. One.
T-Bob said it at the time and it was confirmed by several proven insiders at the time.
Just because Condon and Moscona didn’t report it doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
Sloan wanted Co-OC. Denbrock balked. Kelly thought we had to keep Sloan to get underwood. Now we’re here.

Denbrock didn’t want to share an OC title with Sloan. This is well documented

Nuss looks like dog shite with Sloan as the guy preparing him all preseason and the week before a game, what makes you think Sloan can prepare anyone to look good?
Because he’s obviously injured. The gun slinger can’t sling it 20 yards downfield anymore. That’s not a coaching problem that’s an injury problem. Now Joe Sloan is awful but there were at least 2 more touchdowns left on the field because Nuss couldn’t get the ball there. That’s enough to win this game. Nuss’s inability to throw the ball was the difference in the game. No matter how bad anything else sucked the plays were there for him to make and he wasn’t capable of doing it.

Bravecto has been excellent for us. Haven’t seen a flea or a tick since switching to it.

The first four books were all pretty great. The story was mysterious and engaging. Then it got too wonky, particularly bogged down by the split personality Susan, alcohol gay priest, and King’s self-insertion. I did not mind the ending though.
I thought the first three were good. Wizard and the Glass was absolutely excellent. Wolves of the Calla was fine. Everything from Songs of Susannah on were terrible imo.

The few Stephen King books that I've read. While it had some high points, the Dark Tower series really shite the bed at the end.
I love Stephen King. You’re going to find more of his books on my bookshelves than any other author. When I can’t decide on anything new to read I typically reach for Stephen King and re-read another book once again.
That being said The Dark Tower started out as “just good” through the first three books, approached greatness with the 4th then was a sharp plummet from there.
