He wasn't even on the field in crunch time in the 2nd half in 2-3 receiver sets.
Think there might be a good reason for that? Or are you just gonna go with “Nabers is JD’s favorite” or other such shite

If you would have told me this before the season, I would have never believed it.

I'm frustrated for Bech. Every time I see Taylor in the slot, I just don't understand why it's not Bech. He's not blocking from the slot and we target him 100 x's a game. I think he's going to be a really good T.E. but dang, he ain't Bech!
I don't care about Boutte anymore. He's clearly not engaged. He's dropped as many balls as he's caught and he pouts constantly. Neighbors makes plays and catches most balls his way. At this point I'd rather see Neighbors/Bech/Thomas and Jenkins get 90+% of the targets. If Hilton is our "speed guy" we need to have him try and take the top off the other D 2-3 x's/game to keep them honest.

85 total passing yards should never happen, no matter how many rushing yards you have. Especially against a team like Auburn.

Maybe I am partial to the West Bank (ha ha) but BT11 has always passed the eye test for size / hands / ability to get open. Seems underrated to me.
Also, y’all bitching about JD5 taking off running would be bitching even more if he were taking 5-6 sacks a game (do you not remember what that was like?). Somebody teach Goodwin to catch in the flat and turn him into Darren Sproles! That’ll keep our QB on the field for a few more games

Daniels is scared to throw downfield. Might be all those picks he threw last year at ASU but he has to start letting it fly. If he can’t let Nuss give it a shot. I think Denbrock has plenty of blame as well for not designing a more proficient short passing game. Boutte has way too many drops to complain about anything. Nuss hit him in the hands on a 3 yd out and he dropped it.

Everybody bashing the offensive system when it’s completely limited due to Daniels passing ability. Daniels is tough and a great runner so I understand why he’s the starter. Credit Denbrock for the adjustment in the second half to run Daniels by design. He’s obviously not running the offense he wants to run but the offense he has to run with an average Oline/RBs and a below average throwing QB. Joe Brady could be at LSU right now calling the same plays he did for Burrow and we would look horrible. Doesn’t mean the system is bad.

Unfortunately all signs point toward Miles/Cameron and not Ensminger/Brady.
Ensminger/Brady Looked like Miles/Cameron without Joe Burrow. Sometimes it’s the Jimmys/Joes and not the Xs/Os.

Those two aren’t being used to attack the middle of the field (slants/crosses/deep-in/etc) and it needs to change asap.

Now do how many drops Boutee has
I believe of all the receivers Bech is the only one who hasn't had a pass go right through his hands.

4-1 (2-0) is the only stat that matters.

Serious question…does he have more drops than catches?

I think everybody is a little at fault. Daniels needs to be more accurate and make better reads, Denbrock needs to do a better job of designing plays to get our receivers the ball (there's no reason Mason Taylor should be getting the majority of targets, and that's not a slight to him), receivers obviously need to do a better job of catching the ball as well.

Boutte missed a game and also has numerous drops in the games he has played in.
We need to give Boutte a shot at RB.
