I’m not as disappointed in his play calling as I am with play design and route combos. Need more rub routes WR screens and combos to create space so JD can have more confidence to let the ball go.

I think it has more to do with Jayden’s inability to stretch the field then it does with play calling, if you go watch some replays of the game you’ll see WR Getting open and Jayden doesn’t throw it cause he either misses the read or he doesn’t trust his arm, I like Jayden a lot he’s kept us in some games with his legs but his inability to throw it past 5-8 yards is gonna hurt us and it’s probably gonna show this week

Denbrock has to scheme to fit his personnel. He has a run first QB, but Daniels is the best we got since Howard will redshirt. So yes, it affects the play calling.

Yeah he looked real unhealthy returning that punt game before last. Bech played in the first damn game dude. Quit making excuses regarding Bech being injured.

I stated last week, i wouldn't fault any of our receivers from bailing on this team if we don't make a decision to use our QB to PASS THE BALL. Bech, Boutte, Thomas, etc... we have an elite receiving corp, and a QB who can't reach them and will only throw to the freshmen TE who can't really catch yet.

This receiving corp is FAR from elite. They may be elite in potential and talent, but their play right now leaves a lot to be desired. They run poor routes, they don't get separation, and as of Saturday they are struggling to secure the ball.
I don't know why the Rant always tries to place blame at the feet of one person, when there is plenty of blame to go around. The entire offense needs to play better.
If Jayden continues to play conservative football, if he continues to be late on his release, but the WR's get their play together...it doesn't matter. Vice Versa, if the WR's get their play together, but Jayden doesn't improve...it doesn't matter. It has to be a group effort.
