A lot of LSU fans will owe Will Wade an apology if this turns out to be true:

Funny thing is for the most part these assholes are getting little to no flack over the Texas ticket flub. How shortsighted could these assholes be to schedule a home and home with a team that will give us little to no tickets that’s literally next door and home to a very large percentage of alumni? The one and only time these buffoons would have been justified in making this a neutral site game, they pull this shite off. I know, I know their excuse would have been people would have bitched either way, maybe so, but if they explained that by playing home and home we’d get 3,500 measly tickets people would have understood.
If Texas so much as gets 3,501 tickets and any are in the lower bowl fans will be well within their right to raise holy hell.

IF somehow wade is back for the tourney it will be like post vandy game all over again. I’m going to be so pumped and excited for Thursday I will be useless at work Tuesday or Wednesday

We were not on the plane, but my husband and I are minor boosters of the basketball program, and we are involved with the basketball TAF. I can definitely believe there was a near riot.
We were at a private Alumni/TAF dinner the night before our game.
I was wearing a number 1 basketball jersey (that I’d had for ages). I wore it as a protest against the decision to withhold Javonte - at that time we didn’t even know if he would play the next day. I got up and showed my jersey and said “ Free Javonte!”. I got lots of cheers and applause.
I can tell you with certainty that TAF members and boosters are furious with the crap that is going on and several spoke to Alleva and Alexander at the tournament. Everyone that I know is in support of Coach Wade and Smart, until further notice,and we want Will to be able to finish th season as coach.
I hope some of the bigger boosters can use their influence to get this shite sorted.
