Cooper and Rizy were guys we counted on last year and can’t come close to counting on this year. That’s 2 guys that were supposed to be super involved and are after thoughts now. Injury to Moore hurt. Need 18 innings out of our starters and have Cowan Sheerin Guidry and Fonetenot eat up the rest of the weekend innings. Need maybe one more guy to emerge. 1 more consistent guy. Preferably a lefty. (Garcia would be great)
Some of these guys played at D1 power 5 schools and hit over 300. If dardar was hitting over 300 we wouldn’t complain about his defense. The bigger issue is the freshman look lost besides Patrick. Even Milam is struggling at the plate. Bullpen can’t throw strikes.

Need someone offensively to step up tomorrow and get a big hit with guys on base.
Maybe I should start watching the girls instead of the boys.
Hypothetically. If they know who threw the beer van he press charges on them? Gotta be consequences right ?
What kind of offense will they run ?
We should make it a special day and lead up to it with a count down on social media and see how much we can raise in one day. Then the next day announce how much was raised and then see other people join.

Also, they need to somehow say an unnamed donor has agreed to match it and see how much that can drum up. People like doing things in groups/ teams.
I don’t envy the administration. Tough decisions all around. Tradition and history play a part but too many mouths to feed. But if we can get NIL commitments via fundraising we may be able to be good at the top 4 sports. I would think LSU baseball has some pull for some kids not needing the highest number to attend.

I like Fontenot for 3-4 and Cowan for 3-5. Then Guidry and/or Sheerin to close. Especially if Sheerin only pitched one inning on Friday.

Evans and Schmidt going 13 innings is big. Can use Sheerin for 1-2 on Friday and maybe someone like Garcia for 2-3 and then Williams for 2-3.
This weekend worked out well for us pitching wise. Couple other guys stepped up. Lachenmeyer for one. (Even though he hit his batter today). I believe Rizy did okay this weekend too.

We need Moore back but need him healthy.
Guidry, Sheerin, Cowan, Fontenot, Garcia, Williams, Rizy are prob the only guys we will see except for a spot guy like Lachenmeyer here and there. Not sure what to think of Noot right now.

Anyone who throws strikes is good by me. Make them hit it. Just not to 2nd base or first base.
Team knew they had a chance finally
You could say it was last weekend vs Kentucky. We’ve won 4 of last 5 sec games. And the mid week game this week.

Can Braun, Arambide or Serna play 1st?
Yamin at catcher.

No thank you to carraway. He can play midweek
Yeah I like him. Him Serna and Arrambide are massive to add to Curiel, Brown, Stanny, and Milam (usually)
That’s what I’ve been saying. That’s all it took.
Terrible coaching decisions all around. Harden should have hit instead of caraway.
