They work under the president and AD, not the other way around. I just can't fathom that this is all there is to the story. In no universe would an underling ever try to usurp the authority of his boss and expect to keep his or her job.

But one thing is for sure. I, for one, am sick and tired of this play out in the media. All that is happening is all involved are making themselves look incompetent and dysfunctional to the national media.

Joe and Fieldon are putting this out there to get heat off of them, but it’s also the legit story. They were fine just meeting with Wade after the second Yahoo report came out and going from there, then compliance stuck their nose in it like they always do. In most athletic departments, the AD would tell them to get fricked, but sadly Joe is a massive pussy and is terrified of bad PR. If he’d just grow a spine for a minute, Wade would have the meeting he wants and we’d finally have some resolution to this stupid situation.
