I have heard the Ruth Chris burger at the bar is a great lunch.

The RBAR burger is actually excellent. At least the one near the office also does a "30 minute" lunch menu and the filet sliders, crab cake sandwich, and shrimp po boy are all good.

The Las Palmas burger is highly underrated considering it's a mexican place.

Mexican places have some of the best burgers. It’s the seasoning on the grill.

Burger IM on Perkins and Essen in that shopping center. Never, ever would have tried it but someone from work told me about it and damn, it is so good! Best burger in BR!

Most Mexican places have surprisingly good burgers. It's usually always a fresh made patty cooked on a flat top, with fresh lettuce/toppings. Those factors alone beat a lot of "burger" places.

Is Fleming’s no longer a thing?

People used to rave about it on here

Aren't you the poster that recommends Drusilla Seafood every time an out-of-towner asks about good seafood in Baton Rouge?
(assumption is that you are trolling when you do so, but your opinion has been dismissed long ago)

Oh my gosh. I’m hated on an anonymous message board. I’m thinking about getting some counseling for coping with such distress.

Really, we go there every few months with a lunch group and the burger I got there was one of the worst I've had in a while and their frys weren't any better. This was a couple years ago, and I haven't been tempted to try it again.

Yep. It was completely unexpected and I'm hoping it wasn't just a fluke occurrence. The fries were crispy and well seasoned too. It was the location by the interstate fwiw.

Riverside Patty deal at lunch gets you a burger, fries, small drink for $10.49. That a tasty burger for cheap.

I've never had it but understand Superior Grill has an outstanding hamburger.

Went ahead and ordered the Iverstine's $5 burger for myself and got the Mrs. (no pics) the pot roast special for the day. Everything was great. Burger was more of a steak burger but on a thin brioche bun and seasoned well. Fries left a lot to be desired but not terrible.

Yep. Their fries aren't really worth getting. The normal double patty burger is great too.

Wife and I usually split a burger and a half muffuletta.
