The Las Palmas burger is highly underrated considering it's a mexican place.

Who in their right mind is going to Ruth Chris to eat a hamburger unless you have a work lunch meeting.

I have never had it, but I have been told they add some of their trimmings to the beef blend.

I would imagine it cant be bad.

Even calling that bullshite a joke is being favorable.

Who the frick goes to Las Palmas for a burger? Or Ruth's Chris?

Now I'm craving a Big Lou with a side of hash browns covered in cheddar.

One of my kids is allergic to seafood and got the burger at Dukes in Denham by the interstate. It wasn't just good, it was excellent...like one of the best I've had in a long time. I need to order it again to see if they are consistently that good or if the chef was just on point that day.

Most Mexican places have surprisingly good burgers. It's usually always a fresh made patty cooked on a flat top, with fresh lettuce/toppings. Those factors alone beat a lot of "burger" places.

Superior Grill’s burger is actually very good as well. Most Mexican places actually do burgers pretty well.

Well, if it stays on the menu at a place like Ruth's Chris, do really think nobody is eating it?

Also, people do take kids there. When we took ours when she was younger, she would get the burger.

Most likely because they use the same beef for their ground beef tacos which is anywhere between 80-85%. That higher fat content produces a good burger as long as you don't over cook it.

I've been wanting to try theirs.

J Alexander's has a good one. Bonefish of all weird places used to have a good one. BRQ's was great last time I had it. Merchant of course.

I order the burger at Superior sometimes when I'm not feeling Mexican, but I don't find their burger to be as amazing as people praise it for being. It's just decent to me.

I'm sure Ruth's burger is great, but if I'm cutting out of work for the day to do Ruth's lunch, I'm not getting the burger.

When it was open in midtown Manhattan, I used to meet a friend at their bar for happy hour and we would get their sliders. They were delicious.

They take pride in their burger and it's prepared and presented consistently well.

They may not go for a burger but that doesn’t negate the fact that the burger might be good.

Is Fleming’s no longer a thing?

People used to rave about it on here and say it was the best part of their happy hour.

The people that know about it. It's not particularly expensive and it's legit
